Former Practitioner Who Refused to Repent for Persecuting Practitioners Suffers Tragic Consequences

Feb. 26, 2007

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors’ Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution.

Yan Jihui, a resident in Dengshibao Town of Faku County, was once a Falun Gong practitioner. After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started to persecute Falun Gong in 1999, he went to Beijing to appeal and clarify the truth. After being sent to the notorious Zhangshi Labor Camp, under the deceit of police guards and collaborators, he was "transformed." Yan then actively helped police to brainwash and persecute Falun Gong practitioners. He beat and force-fed Falun Gong practitioners who were not "transformed," and also persecuted them in several brainwashing classes held by Zhangshi Labor Camp, including those held in Tiexi, Zhangshixiaolou, Faku, and Fuxin. After his release, many practitioners went to his home, asking him to return to the right path. He did not listen and said, "We can discuss other topics, but not Falun Gong." In this way, Yan lost many opportunities to repent and return to cultivation.

One day in autumn 2006, when Yan was riding a motorcycle near Tengshibao Food Center, he ran into another motorcycle’s rear bumper. As a result, Yan fell to the ground with the motorcycle. The other motorcycle was not damaged and left the site. Yan lay on the ground for a long time and no one came to help. He was already dead when the police arrived.

Yan once practiced the precious and unprecedented Dafa, but later yielded to the evil under high pressure and even persecuted his fellow practitioners. Many people felt pity for Yan’s unwillingness to repent, and felt his fate would have been different had he done so.
