What I Have Learned from Daily Truth-Clarification

Feb. 3, 2007 |   By a practitioner from Guizhou Province

(Clearwisdom.net) For the past few years I have chosen to live away from my home to avoid persecution. My sources of truth clarifying materials are limited, however a Dafa practitioner should validate Dafa and rescue people, no matter where he is or how difficult it is. That is the way for us to validate Dafa. My main method of clarifying the truth is speaking with people face to face and telling them about the greatness of Dafa. I have done this during the past few years.

Sometimes when I was busy making a living or taking care of other matters and had not clarified the truth to anyone for a day, I would later feel that I missed something very important that day. Thus I set a rule for myself that I must clarify the truth every day, even if I only tell the truth to one person. Most of the time I could clarify the truth to several dozen people each day. Because I persisted in truth clarification, I kept myself in a constant state of validating Dafa. This greatly helped me to catch up with Master's crucially important Fa-rectification process.

Since the publication of the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" we have started persuading people to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. The requirements for Dafa practitioners have become higher, and the process of persuading people to withdraw from the CCP greatly showcased Dafa practitioners' great compassion and tolerance. In this daily truth clarification I realized that constantly clarifying the truth could greatly help improve one's xinxing. On the other hand, improving xinxing also helped me to persist in clarifying the truth. No matter whether I was busy or not, no matter what the season or date, clarifying the truth to people every day helped me maintain my daily righteous thoughts. I would not become complacent at any time. All I was thinking about was the Fa and how to better validate Dafa and rescue people. Though I did not do anything significant, I constantly told people the greatness of Dafa with a clear and calm mind. I offered people salvation with a kind and compassionate heart. I did the three things as a Dafa practitioner with a pure heart.

I found the true meaning of life in the process of validating Dafa. There was an ancient saying in China: "No one can get to heaven in one step." Master taught us the Fa of the universe, gave us a ladder to heaven. But we have to climb the ladder step by step ourselves. The Fa measures our achievement level.

"One's gong level is as high as one's xinxing level, and this is an absolute truth." ("Lecture One" from Zhuan Falun, 2000 Translation Edition)

All lives in the new universe should be selfless. When we are telling people the Dafa truth our purpose is to rescue people. This is according to a universal rule of the new universe. Such a process is a process of improving ourselves, to achieve the standard of the Fa. It is our way of returning to our real home. When I see many older people feeling bored in their retirement years I often think about Dafa practitioners being busy rescuing people every minute. How different are their levels.

Clarifying the truth every day also helps me to eliminate attachments. In the process of clarifying the truth my attachments and shortcomings are often exposed. For example, my attachment to zealotry would surface if I clarified truth to many people in one day. I often argued with people when clarifying them the truth, or I sometimes noticed my attachment to fear in an unfamiliar environment. Many such attachments were not easy to find in daily life. I gradually eliminated many attachments in the process of clarifying the truth. As a result my xinxing improved.

In summary, we must persist in rescuing people and clarifying the truth. This is a process of exposing and eliminating our attachments and a process of improving xinxing and encountering profound realizations in our lives.

Thank you, Master.
