April 22, 2007

(Clearwisdom.net) Taiwan's Chinese Daily reported on April 9, 2007 that the US Divine Performing Arts' tour arrived in Fu Cheng (Tainan) on April 9. Superb performances by 62 outstanding Chinese artists attracted a large number of viewers to come appreciate the show. The response was warm and enthusiastic.

The Divine Performing Arts, composed of 62 outstanding Chinese artists is the main force in the New Tang Dynasty Global Chinese New Year Spectacular and Christmas shows each year. Yesterday's performance, which included mainland Chinese tenor Guan Guimin, soprano Bai Xue, recipient of the Best Actress Award in China, soprano Jiang Min who is an expert in folk music and Western vocal technique, and Yang Jiansheng, a well-known contralto, coupled with exquisite dance skills, overwhelming and vigorous drums, music and dance combining Chinese and Western styles, kept the audience captivated.

The Divine Performing Arts' performance conveys traditional oriental culture, through beautiful costumes, lighting, music, coupled with backdrops created with animation technology, gentle and elegant flying fairies, pure and graceful folk dances and touching stories about loyalty and filial piety [and other virtues in traditional culture]. All of the performances showcased the unique connotations of divinely-inspired beauty.
