The professor was especially impressed by the perfect marriage of traditional culture and modern technology: "The programs are rooted in traditional Chinese culture yet are infused with a modern spirit. For example, the show used many modern stage design techniques, lighting and sound effects to highlight some of the divine themes. I think that the troupe is very successful in this aspect and deserves applause and recognition. I feel that the classics are forever modern. There are many treasures in traditional culture to be re-discovered. The Divine Performing Arts performance is inspiring and unveils a new and rewarding direction for artists."
