(Clearwisdom.net) Several days ago, I went to a fellow practitioner's home and saw that he was looking for Dafa materials in a storage room full of junk. In his refrigerator, under his mattress, and even inside a dirty wok, various materials could be found, including Master's articles, the audiotapes for Master's lectures, truth-clarifying materials, and other practitioners' materials. I reminded him that this behavior was disrespectful to Master and Dafa! Therefore, I helped him to move all the Dafa materials to a clean place.

We are disciples during the Fa-rectification period. We are responsible for saving the sentient beings and rectifying everything that is not upright. Shouldn't we do better to respect Mater and Dafa?

Master suffered all kinds of hardships for us. In 1999, in order to block the pressure that the evil forces setup for the disciples, Master's hair turned white.

"it was as if I scooped you out of hell back then. (Applause) I have truly borne for you the sins you committed over hundreds and thousands of years. And it doesn't stop at just that. Because of this, I will also save you and turn you into Gods. I have spared no effort for you in this process. Along with this, since you'll become Gods at levels that high, I have to give you the honors of Gods at levels that high and all the blessings that you need to have at levels that high. (Applause) Never, from the beginning of time, has any God dared to do this. Something like this has never happened before." However, some practitioners have tried to find excuses for their behavior. They stated that in this special period of time, it's better to put the materials under the bed than have them taken away by the evil policemen. Some practitioners put their Zhuan Falun books in their restrooms. Some practitioners randomly toss their handwritten copies of scriptures. After a while, they cannot remember in which notebook they had copied the scriptures or where they tossed their notebook.

Master provided us this great Fa, a ladder to heaven, and immeasurable wisdom. Some practitioners who were in prison protected their Dafa books by carrying them all the time. Outside of prisons in more free environments, spending some effort to keep Dafa materials in clean and safe locations should not be too difficult for us.

When you think that there is no safe place, aren't you agreeing with the old forces? Actually, your righteous thoughts and righteous actions create a safe place. Master said,

"So, for those students of ours who are momentarily in a fog and whose states of mind aren't right, think about it, once you become disrespectful of me, the old forces will do ruthless things to you, and they'll think that this person is just awful." Some practitioners go to the other extreme. They randomly toss their Dafa books or materials around in their homes. Therefore, when the police ransack their homes, these precious materials can be easily found and taken away. This behavior really causes big losses for the practitioners and Dafa. Master said:

"But there's one problem, which is, if you don't respect Master, it's wrong according to the principles of the cosmos, and the old forces will take advantage of the gap and destroy you because of this. They'll have seized the biggest excuse to destroy you, since they've seen the entire process of my saving you." ("Fa-Lecture During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference")

If we do not care about the mercy of Master, don't we walk on the path arranged by the old forces?

I remember a new disciple who obtained the Fa after 1999. It was not easy to get clean water at a construction site. Before he started to study the Fa in the evening, he always prepared a basinful of clean water by his side, so that he could wash his hands before touching the Dafa books and materials. He always put the bag loaded with Dafa books in a high, clean location. His thoughtfulness in respecting Master and Dafa really moved me.

Fellow practitioners, we are fortunate to be Dafa disciples in the Fa-rectification period. This is a unique time in the universe, and we are together with great Master and Fa-rectification. What an opportunity this is! We should place Master and Dafa in a divine position and respect Master and Dafa. Master said,

"Think about it: Even people's claim that they have evolved from apes is able to be highly regarded. Yet with this great Dafa of the universe, you are embarrassed to give it a correct position--this is human beings' true shame." As Fa-rectification progresses, we have more and more materials. Keeping them properly is the responsibility of every practitioner. To randomly toss them somewhere is disrespectful to the Fa and will accumulate karma for ourselves. If we strictly require ourselves to sit straight or sit cross-legged while studying the Fa, never put our hands on the words and concentrate all our thoughts on learning the Fa, the deeper meaning of the Fa will appear. It is unacceptable to work and listen to Master's lectures at the same time.

To sum up, every practitioner should respect Master and Dafa.
