(Clearwisdom.net) Of festivities marking the America's 231^st Independence Anniversary across the United States, people in San Diego held a parade in Oceanside on June 30, 2007, and parades in Mira Mesa and Rancho Bernardo on July 4^th. Falun Gong practitioners in San Diego were invited once again to participate in the parades. They brought Falun Dafa's beauty to tens of thousands of people in San Diego.

San Diego, located in Southern California, has pleasant weather all year long. The weather in early July is even more pleasant. On the streets where the parade procession would pass by, there were tens of thousands of people who were all dressed up, waving flags, balloons and a variety of decorative things. San Diego City Mayor Jerry Sanders and the 49^th Borough representative Darrell Issa, and 50^th Borough representative Brian Bilbrary, all took part in the parade in Rancho Bernardo. Falun Gong practitioners had pleasant conversations with them.

The Falun Gong contingent was composed of banners, waist drummers' group, a float and "celestial maidens" group. The banners reading "Falun Dafa" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" were brilliant and dazzling. The waist drummers performed strongly all the way. Practitioners on the beautifully decorated float gracefully demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises.

Wherever the contingent went, the spectators on both sides of the streets expressed their warm welcome. Many people asked "What is Falun Dafa?" and took truth clarification materials from practitioners. Sometimes, someone stopped the practitioners who handed out materials and wanted to learn more about the detailed information. Thousands of truth clarification materials were given out soon.

An older woman who came to the US for a visit was from a news agency in Wuhan City of China. She said, "It's great. I have kept applauding for you." She told practitioners that over past months since she came to the US, she had seen everything, and learned about everything. She also quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations.

Falun Gong contingent impressed the spectators with its peacefulness and harmony. People waved American national flags, clapping and cheering to the beat of the music "Falun Dafa Is Good." From time to time, some spectators walked up to practitioners and made a Heshi gesture to salute practitioners. All the way, many people took pictures and filmed with video cameras to record such beautiful scenes.

The same day as the parade in the Oceanside, local TV station's "Ninth Channel" had an interview with two Falun Gong practitioners. The practitioners said that Falun Dafa helps people to heal illnesses and keep fit, and the general principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" can help make our world even more beautiful. The world needs "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." Falun Dafa's good message was spread to every household in San Diego through TV.

The organizer of the parade in Rancho Bernardo happily told practitioners, "You came last year, I still remember your brilliant costumes. Welcome again!"

Falun Dafa practitioners deeply impressed the several ten thousand people from all walks of life with their gentle demeanor and peacefulness, and implanted the seeds of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" deep in people's hearts.
