(Clearwisdom.net) At around nine in the morning on June 23, 2007, about ten to twenty policemen from the 610 office of the public security bureau in Beihai City, Guangxi Province broke into practitioner Xu Jiafu's house and arrested him. They also confiscated two computers and other items.

Xu Jiafu's mother is 81. She was very angry when she heard that the police had arrested her son. Although the mother does not practice Falun Gong, she knew that her son had not committed any wrongdoing. On the contrary, her son tries to be a good person because he practices Falun Dafa. Therefore, the elderly woman decided to reason with the police.

On the morning of June 25, the mother and six other relatives went to the public security bureau in Beihai City. When the policeman saw her, he knew that she had come to ask for the release of her son. Hence he slyly told her that her son had acted against the law.

The mother replied righteously: "My son did not commit any crime! I know my son the best. He is a good person because he practices Falun Gong. You arrested my son for no reason. I want you to release my son now!"

Upon hearing that, several policemen looked at each other, and knowing that they were dealing with an 81-year-old woman they threatened her saying, "Do you practice Falun Gong? We will throw you in jail as long as you practice Falun Gong. Aren't you afraid?"

The elderly woman replied: "So what if I practice Falun Gong? Look at me. I'm very healthy. I'm more than eighty years old and I have no illnesses. Falun Gong teaches people to be good. Why are you bothered by it? You don't even let good people off the hook. There is a proverb that says good deeds are rewarded and bad deeds are met with karmic retribution. You all need to think about it. There is no benefit in doing bad deeds."

The elderly woman's words must have touched their hearts. Thus, they changed their tone of voice and said, "You are an elderly lady. Why don't you just go home? It's useless trying to ask for the release of your son."

The elderly mother replied: "This is unbelievable! None of you have any conscience. Don't you have mothers? Wouldn't any mother be worried if she could not see her son? Don't you have children of your own? If your children were arrested, wouldn't you be worried? Children are every parent's treasure. Who wouldn't be anxious if their children are missing? Even a mother duck would be looking for her missing duckling, and I am missing a son. What are you going to do with my son? You must release him. If something bad happens to him, I will come to you all to clear the debt!"

The 81-year-old mother spoke righteously and sternly, leaving the policemen speechless and unable to argue.
