Investigation Leads: The Location Where the People's Liberation Army Unit 65751 Detains Falun Gong Practitioners in Anshan City of Liaoning Province

July 22, 2007

(Clearwisdom.net)

After reports about harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners were published, the Falun Dafa Association and the Clearwisdom.net website announced the establishment of the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG) on April 4, 2006 and started gathering important investigation leads. The following lists a few clues received recently. We hope that all kind people who have inside information will continue sending information to us about how the Chinese forced labor camps, prisons, and hospitals collude with each other in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, so that we can work together to stop the persecution.

Investigation Lead: The Detention Place Where the People's Liberation Army (PLA) unit 65751 detains Falun Gong practitioners

On June 7, 2006, there were news programs reporting that [hospitals] of Anshan City of Liaoning Province were involved in organ transplant operations. Among those hospitals is Tiedong Hospital, which has done over 100 kidney transplants, including 40 cases in the last year and over 10 cases in the last month. In one day, four doctors did kidney transplants for four patients. The waiting period for an healthy organ is from zero days (some patients are accepted for a transplant operation on the same day they arrived in the hospital) to a few months. The cost for a kidney transplant is as low as 40,000-50,000 yuan. When we asked whether the kidneys came from executed prisoners, we were told that the organ sources are secret. We were also told that if our patient wanted a transplant, we had to come to the hospital quickly so that the hospital could do transplant operations for a few patients at the same time. We were also told that the Central Hospital and Tiexi Hospital are also doing transplant operations, and a patient died after receiving an organ transplant at the Tiexi Hospital.

There is a secret place in Tangjiafang Town of Qianshan District in Anshan City of Liaoning Province, where Falun Gong practitioners are detained. We have now confirmed that the PLA's unit 65751 detained 36 Falun Gong practitioners in Tanggangzi Town of Qianshan District of Liaoning Province. The detained practitioners wore sunglasses and were treated very well We know that prisons and forced labor camps all over Mainland China persecute Falun Gong practitioners severely as a matter of policy. Detained practitioners normally only have some corn bread and rotten vegetable soup to eat. So why would PLA unit 65751 treat their detained practitioners so well? We suspect that they are sponsoring a live organ bank.

Tanggangzi Town is in the south suburb of Anshan City, only 15 kilometers away. Changda Railroad, Hada Railroad, and Highway Shenda go through this area. There are highways to Taoxian Airport of Shenyang City and the Dalian Harbor. From Tanggangzi, a round trip to Shenyang City, Benxi City, or Dalian City takes less than a day. The unit 65751 location is by Highway 202 and close to Tanggangzi Hospital, which is well equipped to perform operations to remove organs.

Twelve Falun Gong practitioners from Anshan City have been tortured to death. Nine other practitioners have died indirectly due to the persecution. Over a hundred practitioners have been sentenced to prison or forced labor camps. Nobody knows the whereabouts of about half of the detained practitioners. We encourage everyone to help conduct a through investigation of PLA unit 65751's involvement in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners and stop the ongoing atrocities.

Investigation Lead: PLA solider guards the Heart and Kidney Section of No. 205 [Military] Hospital

A sign for the Heart and Kidney Section is on the third floor of the No. 205 [Military] Hospital. But there are soldiers guarding its entrance. Looking through the door, the hallway was empty, but we were stopped as soon as we tried to enter. None of the other sections were under armed guard. When we asked a hospital employee whether soldiers always guard the Heart and Kidney Section, we were told that this only happened a few days ago.

The average waiting time for a high quality organ is about two weeks at this hospital. This is a candidate for investigation.

Investigation Lead: Shanghai Renji Hospital, Ruikang Hospital of Guangxi Province Make Up Chinese Identification for Foreigners to Receive Organ Transplants

The Shanghai Renji Hospital has offered foreigners organ transplant services since June 2005. In November 2006, they performed four kidney transplants for people from outside China.

Ruikang Hospital of Guangxi Province, located at 10 Huadong Street of Xining City, has an operating room ( Room 2112 in Building 21 South) solely for kidney transplants. Six kidney transplants were performed in one day in December 2006.

The above mentioned hospitals (and others) always make a false Chinese identification for the foreign patient before the operation. Hospitals from other cities are doing similar things.

Investigation Lead: Niu Tianli of the People's Hospital of Taizhou City of Jiangsu Province Has Done Over 300 Kidney Transplants

The People's Hospital of Taizhou City of Jiangsu Province is a small regional hospital. A doctor at this hospital informed us that Doctor Niu Tianli has performed over 300 kidney transplants.

Investigation Lead: Chinese Ministry of Health Approves Hospitals for Organ Transplant Rights, Legalizing Organ Transplant Criminal Activities

Recently, many provincial Health Department websites published a list of hospitals, which have passed the evaluation conducted by Chinese Ministry of Health Human Organ Transplant Clinical Application Committee and were approved by the Chinese Ministry of Health and the Chinese Ministry of Health Human Organ Transplant Clinical Application Committee for organ transplant activities.

According to the published document, all the hospitals that pass the evaluation may register for organ transplant permits after the provincial health department publishes the list and receives no opposition. The listed hospitals may register transplant sections and apply for temporary permission (valid for eighteen months). The listed hospitals should participate in the second round evaluation by the Chinese Ministry of Health Human Organ Transplant Clinical Application Committee.

The hospitals on the list include many large provincial hospitals, subsidiary hospitals of medical schools, and military hospitals. Many notorious hospitals which were exposed as being involved in harvesting organs from live Falun Gong practitioners are on the list, like Changzheng Hospital (a subsidiary hospital of the No. 2 Military Medical University), Qianfoshan Hospital of Shandong Province in Jinan City, Nanjing General Military Hospital of Nanjing Military Region, The No. 1 Subsidiary Hospital of Zhengzhou University, The No. 1 Subsidiary Hospital of Harbin Medical University. Some regional level, smaller hospitals are also on the list.

Some notorious hospitals condemned for their large-scale harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, like the Tianjin Eastern Organ Transplant Center, are not on the list. Is this because the CCP knows that it has been exposed and has moved operations elsewhere?
