(Clearwisdom.net) From the Minghui/Clearwisdom website, I learned about practitioners in Hong Kong clarifying the truth to tourists from Mainland China. This has greatly helped Chinese Mainlanders understand the truth, and I have personally experienced it as well. It is relatively easy for Chinese people to travel to Hong Kong, and my relatives and friends who return from visiting Hong Kong usually tell me about their contact with practitioners in Hong Kong. The following are some examples.
The first story is about myself. I obtained the Fa in 1998 and I traveled to Hong Kong with my family in 2003. A middle aged woman welcomed me with a truth-clarifying CD the minute I got off the train. I thought it was for advertisement and instinctively rejected it. Then, I immediately realized what it was and I accepted it. In the following 10 days, I saw practitioners many times and received many truth-clarification materials. The first time that I clarified the truth to my parents and daughter, I showed them the CD and it had a tremendous effect on them. Before, my parents were scared, so they didn't want to listen to me. I brought home the materials, showed them to many predestined Chinese people, and gave away many CDs.
I have a colleague who learned about the truth a long time ago. Her attitude toward Dafa was positive; she knew Dafa was good and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was bad. Nevertheless, she still had doubts and thought that it was not necessary to denounce her affiliation with the CCP. She traveled to Hong Kong during the Chinese New Year. After the trip, she told me that she was amazed to see information about withdrawing from the CCP in the busiest part of the city. I took the opportunity to suggest withdrawing from her CCP membership, and she immediately agreed. I believe the trip to Hong Kong had a great influence on her, and it proved the information I told her was true.
Recently, I was on a train with five colleagues, and one of them had just returned from a business trip to Hong Kong. She was surprised to see many practitioners in Hong Kong clarifying the truth and urging people to denounce their CCP memberships because she didn't know that Falun Gong was legal in Hong Kong. I told her Falun Gong is legal and welcomed all around the world except China. No one contradicted me. Although I didn't have the opportunity to further clarify the truth, I believe everyone felt the impact.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank my fellow practitioners in Hong Kong. Your persistence in clarifying the truth to Chinese Mainlanders has great effects, and at the same time, it increases the confidence of practitioners in China. We cannot only rely on practitioners just outside Mainland China; practitioners around the globe must work together to form a whole body to help rectify the Fa and follow our Teacher back to our true origins.
