(Clearwisdom.net) For a long time, Qinghe Police Station in the Haidian District of Beijing and the local 610 Office have relentlessly mistreated Falun Dafa practitioners. Since the persecution began on July 20, 1999, nearly all the practitioners in the Haidian District have been mistreated. They have been "illegally detained" and sentenced to forced labor camps and prisons. Some practitioners are still being mistreated in prisons and labor camps.

Ms. Liu Yuzhen was twice illegally sentenced to forced labor camps. In the forced labor camps, she was put in solitary confinement and beaten by drug abusers who had been instigated by the guards. She was severely injured and emotionally traumatized. She is now on medical parole. The mistreatment has caused great difficulties for her family.

Ms. Gui Xiuge has been detained many times. She is still living a homeless life on the streets to avoid being persecuted, and her whereabouts are unknown. Her family members have been under immense stress.

Mr. Guo Zhixiang was sentenced to two years of forced labor in April 2006, and his house was ransacked. He is still being subjected to torture in a forced labor camp.

Ms. Cao Xiuru was reported while distributing Falun Dafa truth clarification flyers. She was sentenced to two and a half years of forced labor in October 2005. She is still being mistreated at the forced labor camp.

Mr. Wang Jianlin; his wife, Ms. Dong Xuejin; and their son all cultivate Falun Dafa. Their house was ransacked in March 2006. Mr. Wang and his wife were sentenced to three and four years of imprisonment respectively. Both are employees of the Beijing Textile Factory. At the time they were arrested, the factory was facing imminent threat of bankruptcy. Employees were requested to retire early and offered a one-time cash payment. They could have received a large sum of money, over 100,000 yuan. After they were arrested, all their benefits were canceled. While their house was being ransacked, the police confiscated over 10,000 yuan in cash.

The police even illegally detained their child for over three weeks! They ordered the child to write a report about his thoughts every week. The child was physically and mentally traumatized.
