Listening to the Dafa Music "PuDu" Cures an Illness and Corrects People's Minds

Oct. 18, 2008

(Clearwisdom.net) A practitioner in Northeastern China was arrested and sentenced to forced labor four times after the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999. When he was finally released in 2005, he was fired from his position and lost his income. With the help of family and friends, he and his wife rented a booth in a local market to sell items used in funeral services. Their business went very well. The couple never forgot to explain the true situation about Falun Gong at every opportunity. They bought a CD player to play the Dafa music "PuDu" during business hours.

The music caught the attention of many customers and vendors in the market. Many veteran customers wondered what this pleasant music was that gave them a sense of homecoming. The practitioner always patiently told his customers, "It's Pudu, Falun Dafa music." One customer said, "No wonder! I haven't heard such wonderful music in years. It is truly remarkable."

The vendor in the booth next to the practitioner's booth was a lady with severe arthritis. Sometime in 2005 her arthritis disappeared without her noticing it. She no longer dreads heat in the summer and cold in the winter. One day she asked this practitioner, "It is really strange. My arthritis is now gone and I seldom catch cold or have a fever." The practitioner's wife told her that one person practicing Falun Gong can benefit the family and people around her and that listening to Dafa music is even more beneficial. This lady said, "No wonder I am now healthy. The music you play every day--I can't listen to it enough. You have to teach me how to do the exercises. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) claims that this person is evil today and another person is evil tomorrow. In my opinion, the CCP is the most evil! No music can compare to what you play!"

This year prior to the Beijing Olympics, local police went to the practitioner's booth to harass the couple, announcing that they would confiscate the CD. The vendor in the next booth commented to the police, "He has been playing the music for the past three years. No one thinks it's something bad. In my opinion, you're the evil ones. You'd better get out of here immediately!" Customers and other vendors nearby supported her, and the police left in defeat.
