Sending Righteous Thoughts at the Court House

Nov. 21, 2008

(Clearwisdom.net)

Summary

October 10, 2008 is a day that I will never forget. That day, I stood in the hall of the court house and waited until the show trial finished. I wanted to see my fellow practitioners who had been taken to the courtroom. As the trial ended, I quickly walked out of the hall and stood right where they would pass. At this moment, I heard, "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is good!" The shouts came from a room on the second floor.

Suddenly I understood the meaning of Master's words in

"Life and death is not boastful talk,

Able to act or not--the truth is seen" ("The Heart Itself is Clear").

The police began to beat the practitioners who had been shouting. Those gathered on the first floor began to shout, "The police are beating innocent people! The police are beating innocent people! The police are violating the law!"

Every time I recall this incident, I can't help but shed tears. There is nothing else I can say. Recalling Master's immense grace and fellow practitioners' fearless, great deeds, I feel that I must cultivate diligently and do the three things well. Otherwise, I would let my fellow practitioners down.

I would like to encourage everyone by sharing Master's "Righteous Thought and Righteous Deeds":

"A Great Enlightened One fears no hardship

Having forged an adamantine will

Free of attachment to living or dying

He walks the path of Fa-rectification

Confident and poised"

("Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Actions" in Hong Yin II)

October 10, 2008 was the day when nine practitioners, including Ms. Zhong Faqiong, Ms. Liu Jia, Mr. Jiang Zonglin, Mr. Zhu Renbin and Mr. Ding Zeyang (hospitalized) and Ms. Mao Kun were put on a show trial at the Wuhou District Court of Chengdu City. After finding out, I decided to go there and send righteous thoughts. On the evening of October 9, it began to rain. I told myself that nothing could keep me away from going to the court house the next day.

More than 30 practitioners from Chengdu were illegally arrested at home or at their work places between August and September 2007. All of them suffered horrifying torture. Ms. Zhou Huimin died due to the torture on March 13, 2008 at the detention center hospital, also known as the People's Hospital of Qingyang District of Chengdu City. On September 25, 2008, family members of Mr. Ding Zeyang, associate professor at Sichuan University, went to the detention center to visit him but didn't see him. That afternoon, the guards finally told them that it has been days since Mr. Ding was hospitalized, but they refused to tell them the hospital address. With much effort they finally found out that he was at the People's Hospital of Qingyang District of Chengdu City, which is located on Wanghe Road of the Qingyang District.

I got up early in the morning of October 10 and went to the courthouse. I saw many police agents in plainclothes standing side by side, staring at passersby. I thought to myself that there were more of them there that day than there would be when a notorious criminal was on trial. How ridiculous!

I thought, "This is a battle between good and evil. Usually when we send the righteous thoughts, our gong and divine powers needs to go everywhere to look for them. Today since they were there, we could eliminate them all!" Meanwhile, I saw many fellow practitioners sending righteous thoughts.

At around 11:30 p.m., I bumped into a fellow practitioner who told me that she went right into the courtroom after she got off the bus. I told her, "I want to go inside and have a look, too." She didn't hesitate and said right away, "I will go with you." From this I saw how far apart she and I were in our cultivation. She had no fear. She was aboveboard, unselfish and pure of heart! I asked her, "What did you say when the police asked you questions?" She said, "I heard that you police arrested Ms. Zhong Fangqiong. Ms. Zhong has helped me. Today, you put her on trial, I must come and attend the trial. I need to know the verdict. Ms. Zhong is a good person." She smiled and continued, "But the police didn't ask me any questions." I said, "What you just said is great. That's what I thought, too. If they ask me, I will say what you said just now."She then said, "What we do is righteous, why are we afraid? As long as we do not have any fear, the police will not ask any questions." I thought what she said rang true. We were tested if we held fear or not and whether we could let go of our human notions or not.

Despite the surveillance, she and I entered the hall outside the courtroom. We saw the family members of the practitioners. I asked them why they didn't go inside to hear the trial. They said angrily that they had argued about this with the officials, but they didn't allow family members into the courtroom, no matter what. They then asked to see the chief justice. They waited until the beginning of the trial, but didn't see anyone who was responsible. Shui Changbing and others in charge turned their phones off. The police and guards standing by the staircases could only say, "We don't know. We don't don't know." The family members told them, "You receive taxpayers money, not CCP money. You don't work for the taxpayers, but sell your lives to the CCP." They did not react.

The court house opened its doors at 10 a.m. and the trials were over by 2:30 p.m. The "open trial" became a secret trial that ignored the law. All those that were allowed to hear the trial were CCP members and officials. There was no fairness, openness or justice that day. What they do is shameful. That's why they dare not to have an open trial. These "law enforcement officials" will be known throughout the ages for their misdeeds.
