(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of February 22, 2008, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zong Xiuxia, a resident of Fangzi District, Weifang City, Shandong Province, was reported while she was clarifying the truth near the Jialejia Supermarket at Xinhua Road, Kuiwen District. At around 11:00 a.m., Ms. Zong Xiuxia was taken to Guangwen Police Station and interrogated. That night, her family was notified to come down to the police station to identify and claim her body. It was noted that her time of the death was around 3:00 p.m. Her family was asked to acquiesce to their claim that Ms. Zong committed suicide.

Ms. Zong Xiuxia, born in 1952, began practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. Before she practiced Falun Gong, she was sickly. After she started practicing Falun Dafa, she experienced miracles in her health.

In 2000, not long after the beginning of persecution of Falun Gong, in July, 1999, Ms. Zong went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. She was arrested and taken to the Bamalu Detention Center in Fangzi District, her hometown. She was detained for a month and 5000 yuan was extorted from her family.

Later, someone reported her while she was posting up truth-clarification materials. She was arrested and detained at the Changning Police Station in Fangzi District. She was not released until she paid 1000 yuan.

Then, in December 2001, Ms. Zong was arrested and taken to the Brainwashing Center at the Weifang City Industry Cadre's School, where she was forced to undergo brainwashing. After she had been detained for a month, another 7000 yuan was extorted from her before she was released from the brainwashing center.

Recently, Ms. Zong was arrested because she clarified the truth to someone. From the time that she was reported, it was only a few hours until she had been tortured to death. And yet, it wasn't until 9:00 p.m that the Chinese Communist Party notified her family. Police from the station said that they got her name and address from a deposit slip they found in the bag she had been carrying. The police claimed that she had committed suicide by jumping from the escalator at People's Hospital. It was said that Ms. Zong was escorted by three strong policemen. How could she have possibly jumped from the escalator and committed suicide?

It came as a great shock to her family. Since her death, her husband's health has deteriorated and he suffers from severe depression. Their children are often seen crying.

In a few short years, nearly a hundred Falun Dafa practitioners have been persecuted to death in Weifang City. The CCP members in Weifang City have committed monstrous crimes.
