Negate the Old Forces' Interference of Divine Performing Arts with Righteous Minds

March 5, 2008 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner from China

(Clearwisdom.net) I recently heard news of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) interfering with the Divine Performing Arts shows in South Korea, the Netherlands, and other places. In Busan, Korea, the theater abruptly canceled their contract, and the performance was delayed. These things made me suddenly realize that I had a big omission in my thoughts. I realized that all these things probably happened because practitioners in China in general have this omission, thus giving the old forces an excuse to interfere with and persecute us.

All practitioners in the world are one body. We are all here to assist Master in Fa-rectification and to save sentient beings. Master told us long time ago, "The next person's things are your things, and your things are his things." ("Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference") However, when I heard that the show in Korea was delayed, I did not realize that the things of the Divine Performing Arts are also my own things. I did not send forth righteous thoughts to clear out the evil factors that were interfering with the show, and I actually felt like the CCP's interference was "normal" since South Korea is so close to China. I did not think further about the real reason for the interference. In short, I completely acknowledged the old forces' interference. It was not until now that I realized the interference with the show could very possibly be due to the omissions of Dafa practitioners in China.

Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Australia are all places where Divine Performing Arts is performing. Dafa practitioners in these countries are doing their best for the performances, and overseas Dafa practitioners have always been working very hard to expose the persecution in China. Sometimes they do not even have time to sleep. Then, when the overseas Dafa practitioners encounter difficulties, shouldn't we Dafa practitioners in China support them without any reluctance?

The practitioners in the Divine Performing Arts companies have done what they are supposed to do. They have overcome many difficulties and are saving sentient beings through the arts. Now, as the reputation of the show is rising, it is obviously becoming a target of the CCP, where they will spend lots of money to continue the persecution. Every instance of interference to Divine Performing Arts must be a great showdown between good and evil in other dimensions, and because of the great influence of Divine Performing Arts, the evil would surely concentrate its forces against it. Thus the Divine Performing Arts shows have become a worldwide focus of Fa-rectification. Isn't this a good opportunity for Dafa practitioners to eliminate the evil? I feel sad that I did not see this earlier. I viewed myself as the audience of the show instead of a component of Divine Performing Arts.

There are several wrong notions here which the old forces might have taken advantage of.

First of all, I forgot that all Dafa practitioners in the world are one body. I have read so many stories about overseas practitioners going against the persecution that sometimes in my mind, I just assume that overseas Dafa practitioners are just obligated to support practitioners in China. However, when the CCP is interfering overseas, I overlooked what I should be doing as part of the one body.

Secondly, I overlooked saving sentient beings outside of China. The compassion of gods does not follow physical borders. Then how can we have different attitudes toward sentient beings around us and the sentient beings outside of China? Aren't these attachments of differentiating and selfishness? There also could be an attachment of dependency on Master. We know that Master is guiding Divine Performing Arts. Thus we all have great confidence in the show and may think that the show will be successful no matter what. When the show encountered problems, with this dependent mentality, we may have unintentionally pushed all the problems onto Master. Having firm confidence in Master and Dafa is, of course, not wrong, but we cannot ignore our own cultivation issues because of that confidence.

When any practitioner sees other practitioners having problems but does not help, isn't that looking outward? When we see others having problems, if we do not consider the reason why we are the ones who see these problems, but just simply emphasize others' issues and do not spend time to help, then we will not only lose the cultivation opportunities that Master has taken efforts to arrange, but we also will create the biggest excuse for the old forces to persecute fellow practitioners.

I would like to suggest that fellow practitioners correct our attitudes toward the Divine Performing Arts shows and strengthen it with our righteous thoughts. The old forces are taking advantage of the differences in the thoughts of practitioners in China and overseas. They are using it as an excuse for persecuting the Divine Performing Arts shows. We must eliminate this interference.
