Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Mou Xiaoqin and Her Family Have Been Subjected to Persecution

Ms. Mou, 51, is from Jie Village, Yongle Town, Gulin County, Luzhou City, Sichuan Province. Since the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, Wang Minghua, the deputy chief of the town, led over ten police officers to confiscate Ms. Mou's belongings late at night, and forcibly took her to the 610 Office Brainwashing Center. At the brainwashing center, they forced Ms. Mou to submit her "living expenses." Afterwards more than ten police officers rushed into Ms. Mou's home demanding the money for her living expenses. Ms. Mou's two daughters were at home and did not give them the money. The police then confiscated her family's television and tape recorder, among other things.

In 2003, Ms. Mou was arrested once again and imprisoned for 15 days. In September 2004, Ms. Mou's family was also attacked, and Ms. Mou was imprisoned for a month. In Fall 2006, Ms. Mou was taken away by the police again and imprisoned for allegedly "attacking the CCP." The CCP members from Gulin County and Yongle Town still persecute members of Ms. Mou's family.

The Suffering of Practitioner Mr. Wu Yucheng

Mr. Wu is a resident in the Third Group, Yongle Town, Gulin County, Luzhou City, Sichuan Province. In October 1999, Luo Yongming, the chief of Yongle Town and Wang Hongyou, the chief of the local police station, led other people to forcibly take Mr. Wu to a brainwashing center.

In January 2000, people from the town imprisoned Mr. Wu, sending him to the brainwashing center again. Those who broke into Mr. Wu's home and took him away tried to extort money from his family at the same time. The police did not find any money, so they took three quilts. He was watched and threatened, and his family's property was confiscated many times.
