(Clearwisdom.net) The final Divine Performing Arts show at the Chicago Civic Opera House ended with warm applause from the audience on the afternoon of December 28, 2008. Three shows in two days brought a feast of beauty to the eyes and deeply touched the hearts and souls of audience members.

The Chicago Academy for the Arts students Sabrina Pont and Regina Giganti came together to see the show. Sabrina's major is motion picture production; she told the reporter: "I really love the show, especially the beautiful colors of the costumes, very attractive." Regina, who is currently studying painting, praised the entire show, saying that it ran very smoothly. She especially enjoyed the combination of the dances with the animated background, and said that the dancers danced very elegantly on the stage.

Audience member Rupan loves Indian dance, and she started learning Indian dance when she was very young. She is very enthusiastic about the arts. Commenting on the Divine Performing Arts show, she was very excited, and said, "Gorgeous! Gorgeous! Gorgeous! I just love it! Everything is so beautiful! The message is beautiful!" When asked about the message, she said, "I could feel love, be kind to others, and do not fight. That is a kind of true love, a love with no complaints to anyone. This is the message. We need peace, but there are so many wars and fights in the world. What we really need are shows like what we see here today (the Divine Performing Arts show). It wakes up our spirit that has been buried so deep. This is the beauty of it (the Divine Performing Arts show)."

Rupan continued by saying that she loved the show, "All the performers are so beautiful." She asked, "Does the Divine Performing Arts Troop only recruit Chinese?" When the reporter said there were non-Chinese performers on stage, she nodded happily. After walking a few steps away, she ran back and asked the reporter, "Is the dancing school for the Divine Performing Arts in New York? Can they open a school here in Chicago?" Rupan said emotionally, "I wish that they could have a school here so that more people could receive such excellent education in arts."

Molinea Isha Lewis is a singer. She said that she was interested in Chinese culture, and felt very lucky to be able to see the show. She said that the show was very uplifting for the soul. As a singer, she highly praised all the singers of Divine Performing Arts. "Everyone is excellent! I especially love the fact that they sing songs to praise gods."

She exclaimed, "The show is so beautiful, so colorful and uplifting! The music is very expressive! I have never been to China, but I feel that I am so close to China after seeing the show."

The reporter asked what she learned from the show, and Molinea said, "Be more confident, love and respect gods, love this world, and share with others..." "It was just like what the host has said, to know that you don't know anything, that is the beginning of knowing things."

The Divine Performing Arts New York Company successfully completed their performance in Chicago, and left for Detroit.
