(Clearwisdom.net) The Divine Performing Arts (DPA) show in Los Angeles was performed for a second night at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Dec. 31, 2008.

"I Totally Recommend This Show!"

Mexican actress, Leslie Garza Rivera, who has a TV show and was involved in the movie Detective Privado, attended the show with her daughter and her Mom.

She told the reporter, "I am here enjoying this beautiful, beautiful show!"

During intermission she was asked what her favorite part of the show was. She replied, "My favorite part is the family part, you can really feel it. You have the Mom, the Father, and the daughter and the Father is having these attacks, so he is dying ... you feel the whole story and it's very, very touching. So, I really, really liked that part of the show."

When asked why she liked that part the best, she replied, "It's beautiful. Well, you know, I love my Father ... For me, not having my Father with me, I can totally see myself in that situation like where you are alone with your Mom. My Mom is here at the show. She does Tai Chi, and is into Chinese ancient culture. But for me, not having my father with me, that's unfortunate. So, that's probably why it's really, really tough."

She continued, "It was beautiful. Because you can see where he's going (to Heaven). The sense of peace, a sense of, like, 'OK, we're going to be fine, because we know he is going to be fine.' So that gave me that joy, that part of the joy."

Her daughter shared similar feelings as her Mom, saying, "I felt bad about what happened to the Father. The daughter was left alone with no one, only her Mom. She was just fighting."

Ms Rivera praised the show's ability to invoke a wide range of emotional responses from the audience. "You know, it's beautiful. All these feelings that you can transmit to people, all these signs, all these colors. I really think the color, they make it alive, and they make it a part of the show. For me, it's beautiful."

She said she was very excited about having the opportunity to learn about Chinese traditional culture. "I am Mexican, and we are here learning about Chinese culture. So for me it's wonderful. I highly recommend it to everyone. No matter if you are French, Italian, Russian, Mexican, Chinese, or Korean, everyone should come and learn a little bit and you will enjoy it."

When she was asked how she would describe this show--in one sentence--she replied, "It would be, "Spectacular!" That name by itself, it says everything."

She concluded by saying, "I totally recommend this show!"

Hollywood actor: I like the dances. They are so beautiful

Actor Thomas McGovern, from Buffalo, New York, attended the DPA with his Russian born wife and accomplished actress, dancer, and screen writer, Mrs. McGovern.

Mr. McGovern played roles in movies such as "Justin," "Bad Blood," and "Cleaner," as well as a role in a music video called, "New Found Glory."

He said he found about this DPA through an actor friend of his, Peter Tan, saying, "He'll also be attending the show."

Mrs. Oksana McGovern told the reporter a little bit about her background. "I came from Russia and I performed in Russia then I performed in upstate New York, then I came to Hollywood and performed, here ... in TV shows, and commercials, and some films."

She also wrote an one-act play called, "Angel's Wings" that was produced in North Hollywood; recorded a music CD, and was a professional model.

When asked how she liked Chinese traditional culture, she replied, "I don't know much about it, about the culture. I am hoping to learn more (from the show)."
