The attendees displayed many banners at the rally. Ten guests gave speeches, condemning the CCP's evil behavior and calling upon Chinese people to recognize the nature of the CCP.

Young Falun Gong practitioners from the Minghui School performed traditional Chinese dances at the rally.

Dr. Ma Youzhi, a representative from the Service Center for Quitting the Party in San Francisco, expressed in his speech that since the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published five years ago, 63.5 million Chinese people have quit the party. He said the Berlin Wall crashed down 20 years ago, but the CCP tries to build up the wall in people's hearts. He said the Nine Commentaries is the tool to push down the wall in people's hearts.

Several democracy movement activists and leaders, including Mr. Zhou Fengsuo, Feng Congde, Zheng Cunzhu, and Guo Baosheng, stated that the Nine Commentaries has awakened people and showed the evil nature of the CCP. The Nine Commentaries have invoked a peaceful movement of quitting the party. They pointed out that those who quit the party have made a correct decision, and that China will have a better future without the CCP.

Zhang Hong, a Falun Gong practitioner, said in her speech that many people who read the Nine Commentaries want to quit the party. She once helped more than 20 Chinese people in a tourist group in San Francisco to quit the party, including a high-ranking CCP officer. She said this shows that many Chinese people are waking up and abandoning the CCP.
