(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Wang Cunying, a Falun Gong practitioner from Dalian City, had been at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for over two years. She was supposed to have been released on November 14, 2009. Because of resisting being mistreated at the labor camp, she was held five more days and released on November 19, 2009. However, when her pregnant daughter and son-in-law traveled nearly 500 kilometers to Shenyang City to pick up her, they noticed that the police officers from the Gongjie Police Station and the Xinggong Administration Committee 610 Office in Dalian were present as well. Without going through any legal procedures, they attempted to send Ms. Wang to a brainwashing center for further persecution.

Before practicing Falun Gong, Wang Cunying suffered from severe hyperthyroidism for years. The medicines she took had little effect. In order to cure her disease and gain health, Ms. Wang had been to many places to look for someone that taught Qigong and who could cure her. She had participated in many Qigong classes before she started to practice Falun Gong, but no one could help her. In 1998, she participated in Falun Gong classes. Not long after she started to practice Falun Gong, the symptoms of hyperthyroidism disappeared. Her miraculous recovery convinced her that she had found what she had been looking for. Since then, she has strictly followed the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and become a good person. Because she dramatically changed both physically and mentally, many of her family members and relatives also started to practice Falun Gong.

However, since the communist regime started the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, Ms. Wang has been arrested many times. She was subjected to three years of forced labor in 2002 and had nearly 10,000 yuan extorted from her by officers from the Jiaojinshan Police Station. After she was released from the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in 2005, although she was a senior nurse with extensive experience, she was assigned to do the most tiresome and dirty job in the hospital - washing hospital clothes.

On August 14, 2007, Ms. Wang was arrested again. She was subjected to two years and three months of forced labor and was sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp again. Her sisters were also arrested and detained.

At the end of each month, every practitioner at the labor camp was required to fill out a checklist, which contained insulting contents. In November 2007, for refusing to sign the checklist, Wang Cunying was hung up for about 16 hours. The guards involved in her torture were: Zhang Cungong, Zhou Qian, Zai Yaohui, Chen Qiumei, and Li Mingyu.

On October 7 or 8, 2008, for refusing to sign the checklist, Ms. Wang suffered the same torture again. The hanging was from a bunk bed. Her upper body was pushed inside from the head boards between two beds. Her lower body was left outside of the bunk bed with her legs tied together onto a metal bar that was laid under the bed and tied to the bed legs. Her arms were cuffed to both sides of the upper bed and her upper body was thus hung this way. In this position, she could not straighten her back nor could she squat down. The weight of her entire body fell completely onto her two upper limbs. She suffered extreme pain due to this torture method. Within a few minutes, she sweated so much that it stained the bed sheets. The handcuffs cut into her flesh, which was then bleeding all around. Ms. Wang endured this torture for 23 hours, and her hand muscles atrophied severely. She was denied medical treatment.
