(Clearwisdom.net) (By a Minghui correspondent from Liaoning Province) Ms. Liu Yinfeng, a Falun Gong pratitioner in her fifties, was a kindergarten teacher at Tumen Reservoir, Hongqi Township, Fengcheng City, Liaoning Province. She was illegally sentenced to three years of imprisonment, and is currently detained at Liaoning Province Women's Prison. Her family went to visit her and found out that she was very weak as a result of persecution, and her mental state was also worrisome.

Before she started practicing Falun Gong, she suffered from ailments such as dizziness, stomachache, and breast hyperplasia all year round. After she started practicing Falun Gong, all of her illnesses disappeared. As a result of her previously hot temper, her family life was tense and she could not satisfactorily finish her work. After she began her cultivation, she acted according to the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and she always thought of others first even in minor regards. As a result, her family life was happy, and she did not fight with her supervisors about job issues.

On July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party started to persecute Falun Gong. Ms. Liu told everyone around her about her own experiences and the fact that she benefited a great deal from studying the Fa and practicing Falun Gong. She clarified the truth of Falun Gong whenever she had a chance. She was slandered and reported by someone when she was talking about Falun Gong in the summer of 2002. She was later sentenced to three years of forced labor. She suffered tremendously in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp and was near death. She was bailed out for medical treatment after her family had 15,000 yuan (US $2,200) extorted from them.

On November 15, 2008, when she and two other practitioners, Ms. Leng Dongmei and Ms. Wang Chunzhen, were explaining the facts about Falun Gong at the Third Group of Huangqi Village, Hongqi Township, they were slandered and reported by villagers Ms. Cheng Guihua, Ms. Xiao Li, and Mr. Cong Dequan. They were arrested by Mr. Ju Chunbo, head of the Hongqi Police Station in Fengcheng City, and police officer Hong Jiang. They were later taken to Fengcheng City Detention Center. After being detained for 13 days, they were transferred to Dandong Detention Center. Ms. Liu stayed on a hunger strike to protest the illegal persecution. As a result, she became emaciated and developed a tumor in her leg.

The Fengcheng City Court secretly held a session in March 2009. During the session, Chief Judge Xu Hongren, Judges Wan Kaifu and Lu Jingyi, inspectors Tang Jinfeng and Zhao Enfang, and secretary Wang Jun made false charges against Ms. Liu, and she was consequently sentenced to three years of imprisonment. Another practitioner, Ms. Leng Dongmei, was sentenced to four years but has recently been released for medical treatment. The third practitioner, Ms. Wang Chunzhen, was sentenced to one year of forced labor by the Fengcheng City Police Station. She has since been released.

Ms. Liu Yinfeng refused to accept the verdict and appealed to Dandong Intermediate Court, which would not hear her case, rejected her appeal, and upheld the previous verdict by the Fengcheng City Court. That decision was made by Chief Judge Yu Yiqing, Judges Feng Taimin and Tian Xuyan, and secretary Anne.

After Ms. Liu Yinfeng was arrested, her parents, who are in their eighties, grieved over her misfortune. Her husband lost his wits and did not know how to rescue her. Her husband recently went to Dabei Women's Prison in Shenyang City to visit her, and became deeply worried. He learned that her previous diseases had returned and become worse than ever, and that her leg had swelled. She could not walk steadily and was not in good spirits.
