(Clearwisdom.net) I was held in the Orientation Cell of the detention center after being arrested. One inmate was a drug trafficker. She looked fierce, and everyone was afraid of her. The guards appointed her as the head of the cell. She separated several of us who were practitioners so we could not talk to each other. She also ordered other inmates to keep an eye on us to prevent us from practicing the Falun Gong exercises. We tried various approaches to present the truth to her. Nothing changed.

One day I was reciting Master's recent articles. When I was reciting, "Stop the Evil Acts with Righteous Thoughts," a thought occurred to me: let the karma of her evil acts against Dafa practitioners return to herself. She started having a fever. There were pimples all over her neck and forehead. She was in such pain that she pulled her hair and tore her clothes. She was not able to speak let alone yell at others. Sometimes she said this could be the punishment as a result of her mistreatment of Falun Gong practitioners.

Yet, she did not stop committing evil deeds. She ordered two inmates close to her to monitor us. These two inmates were not of wicked nature. I was thinking how to stop them from committing a crime. It was hard to save them if they stayed so close to the drug trafficker. I thought I should separate them and let them fight each other. Immediately, the two inmates started a fight. They fought all the way to the administration office. The guards were not able to resolve their dispute. The two inmates were ordered to be separated.

One of the two fighting inmates approached me and told me that she now understood that she should not sell out her conscience to the demon no matter the circumstances. I told her I would help her quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations through the Epoch Times. She insisted on doing so by herself. She would help all her family to quit as well. She was able to learn the truth through the tribulation during this period of imprisonment. She left our cell shortly after knowing how to lead her life.

The other fighting inmate also approached me on her own as well. She told me that she had been here for quite some time. She had met several practitioners and read Dafa books. She came to understand some truth. Other practitioners had helped her to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. She told me that she was predestined with Buddha even when she was a child. This imprisonment had to be for the fulfillment of being introduced to Falun Gong because she met so many practitioners. I told her there were many more practitioners in other cells and she should always treat them well if she was transferred to another cell. This would help her position herself and pave the way for her future. She promised me with seriousness that she would not help the evil.

The fierce inmate on charges of drug trafficking saw that no one was listening to her. She decided to give some new inmates some clothes left by those who had left. She also distributed better food to some inmates. She ordered these people to help her keep an eye on us. I clarified the truth to those assigned to monitor me. I also sent righteous thoughts to keep her isolated so that no one would take orders from her. One day a practitioner was reading Master's recent articles. She found out and jumped at the practitioner madly to grab the articles. Several practitioners all rushed over to protect Master's articles. She ordered the others to help her when confronted by several of us on her own, but no one responded. This was a huge setback. She did not stop cursing, but her actions became much restrained.

After she stopped carrying out the persecution, she started to talk sensibly. She told me that she had read Dafa books. She understood that Dafa is here to save people and Dafa practitioners are good people. However, she was a drug trafficker. She was to spend the rest of her life in prison. She believed Dafa would not save people like her. That was why she became so desperate in venting her hatred by mistreating practitioners. I told her that our Master only looks at a person's attitude to Dafa. Her attitude to Dafa practitioners would determine her future. She told me that the other practitioners told her this as well, but she did not believe it. I told her for the sake of her child, she should believe what we told her. When she heard about her child, tears came to her eyes. I saw she still had human nature and told her to treat practitioners well after being taken to the prison. She was quick and resolute in making up her mind. She said she would just work as a prison laborer. She would not help the guards in the persecution. She had dealt with the police for years. She knew that they were worse than the worst inmates. She calmed down. The environment in our cell became quite relaxed.

Soon I was released. But being able to return home was also a result of divine power. I was being taken to a forced labor camp. I sent forth the thought that the police vehicle would not find the gate at the labor camp. It took several rounds and the officers could not find the entrance. I told them to drive me home. The police tried to have me serve the forced labor term at home. I was able to let the blood pressure gauge display any high readings I wished. I was able to let the pulse reader display high readings as well. Through divine power, I was able to destroy the documents in the police department they had kept on me. I just felt it was fun. I did not realize back then that it was divine power. Only when we were discussing divine power and godly might recently did I think about my experience of restraining the evil, clarifying the truth, changing the environment and walking out of police custody through divine power.

Master said in "Fa Teaching Given at the Epoch Times Meeting"

"But time waits for no one, nor do circumstances."

Facing so many people to be saved around the world, it is not enough to just talk to one of them at a time or hand out brochures one at a time. To combine the divine side with the human side of ourselves, I have the following thoughts.

First of all it is belief. Believe that we have all the divine power and capabilities. It is not merely believing in ourselves. It is believing in Master and in the Fa. Master has compressed all the power bestowed by the Fa into Zhuan Falun. Master has also given us all the capabilities. We have to believe deeply and take it to the most fundamental level. Master said in "Stop the Evil Acts with Righteous Thoughts":

"...it will take effect as soon as your thoughts emerge."

We simply believe in the existence of the Fa's power. It does not matter whether it is manifested on the human side or not. One fellow practitioner told me that she had not held onto the righteous thoughts as strongly as she had wished while she was in the detention center. After she got out, she found out that her brother, who is also a practitioner, had been using the capabilities of moving objects to move her out of police custody all the time, which turned out to be extremely powerful. With so many practitioners, if we are all full of righteous thoughts, all our fellow practitioners unlawfully imprisoned should all be freed. Master said in "Fa Teaching Given at the Epoch Times Meeting":

"If all Dafa disciples could grasp this, and all sincerely achieve a state of having their righteous thoughts be at their most powerful point, then one day would be enough to resolve things."

Next, we have to have pure motives. Master said in "Fa Teaching Given in Manhattan":

"Even if the things you are doing are Dafa things, you still have to conform to the Fa or else the Fa's power will not be there."

Our mission is to follow and assist Teacher in rectifying the Fa and save the sentient beings. What else are we to do? If we do not harbor any human thoughts, we will manifest the power of the Fa. We are lives who have assimilated to Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance. We are here to rectify anything that is not rectified. Wherever we are, all evil should be extinguished. It should not even take a thought of ours. Of course I am not saying we have all reached the purity and righteousness set forth by the Fa. Any divine accomplishments are encouragement to us. Clearwisdom.net published an article that documented what a young practitioner encountered. When she saw the window was open and she was to deliver the truth clarification leaflet through it to the residents, the leaflet flew into the window from her pocket. When she was thinking of going upstairs to deliver the leaflets, the leaflets flew upstairs. Another practitioner came downstairs after placing brochures in a building of the police department. She ran into two officers coming upstairs. She used the capability to make herself invisible. Although the two officers almost bumped into her, they just could not see her. We were able to get things done by developing a thought because our thoughts were pure and they conformed to the Fa. As the standards for us set by the Fa gets higher, we have to continuously cultivate ourselves so as to help save more sentient beings.

In the Chinese divinely inspired culture, there are many stories about Buddhas, Taos, and Gods using divine power wisely to eliminate evil and save people. Today with such an immense Fa, it will manifest tremendous wisdom and capabilities. On one occasion, I explained the facts to someone in my field. She realized quite a few things. We discussed about dreams. Shortly afterwards, she dreamed of herself in the vast universe, filled with stellar clouds. Master appeared from afar in the lotus position and approached her. Master told her that after this huge tribulation, things would turn for the better. Master then disappeared. She told me about the dream. She said it was so real. She started to take in the truth earnestly. She took leaflets home and persuaded her entire family to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Master has saved us practitioners with divine power. We, in turn, can use what Dafa bestowed us to save more people. We just have to do it rationally.

Master has talked about the use of capabilities extensively in lecturing on the Fa. Our fellow practitioners are not fully aware of our own capabilities. Even when they manifest, we tend to think it is Master who is doing this. Indeed, it is Master who has given us the capabilities. But Master wants us to mature, to become divine beings. There is this evolution from our using the divine power unintentionally to using it intentionally, from not quite knowing how to use it to knowing how to use it, from using it for a specific purpose to systematically using it all the time. This also takes cultivation. Master said in Zhuan Falun:

"As a person sits there, without moving his hands or feet, he is able to do what others cannot do even with their hands and feet, and he can see the actual truth of each dimension in the universe."

As Fa rectification has progressed to this day, Master has helped us to become more mature and our divine sides be more dominant. Things have started to manifest in this space as well. In all aspects, Master has given us the opportunity to gradually recognize the divine power, to be familiar with it, and to use it freely. This is also a gradual process toward godhood, a process of comprehensively saving sentient beings.

Let us not disappoint Master. Let's follow Master's teaching in "Righteous Thoughts":

To reduce the losses, and to save sentient beings, put your Dafa disciples' powerful righteous thoughts to full use! Show your Mighty Virtue!

And in "Teaching the Fa on Easter, 2004, at the New York Fa Conference":

"...may Dafa disciples' divine sides also be resurrected!"
