Cases of Karmic Retribution in Benxi City, Liaoning Province

March 28, 2009

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Guo, the head of Benxi Correction Center, was very active in the persecution of Falun Gong and Falun Gong practitioners. He demanded that all the arrested practitioners go through physical examinations. The law states that if anyone fails the physical, this person should not be sentenced to forced labor. However, Guo never exempted anyone, including one practitioner whose blood pressure was as high as 280. He collaborated with the police station to force-feed and torture the steadfast practitioners. One practitioner told him that persecuting practitioners would result in suffering from retribution, but he said that he did not believe it. Three days later, Guo was sent to the hospital ER and died there. After he died, another policeman told the practitioner, "What you said is actually true!"

Ding Huibo was an intern. To become a full-time policeman, he actively persecuted Falun Gong practitioners. He beat, verbally abused, and force-fed practitioners. He put large amounts of salt into the liquid used to force-feed practitioners, who thus felt so miserable that they would denounce Falun Gong. In addition, he hung portraits of the founder of Falun Gong with iron wires onto the headboards of the practitioners who refused to denounce Falun Gong. At present, Ding is suffering from all kinds of diseases, and he looks like a ghost.

Zhang Jing was an administrative staff member of the Hedong Street Committee in Xihu District. She actively participated in the persecution of Falun Gong. She slandered Falun Gong, and tore up and burned Falun Gong books. Soon after all her evil deeds, her feet started to rot. Not long after, she died as no doctors were able to find any treatment for her.

Li Jingfu is a policeman from Xihu Police Station. He frequently harassed practitioners. He has been diagnosed with diabetes and is on the edge of death.

Policeman Wang from Caibei Police Station went to Beijing to get a Falun Gong practitioner. On their way back, Wang suddenly suffered from some unknown disease and died.

Wang Jianmin was a policeman from Hexi Local Police Station in Xihu District. He collaborated in all kinds of evil deeds against practitioners. He frequently went to practitioners' residences to harass them. He also searched practitioners' residences and confiscated their personal belongings. He arrested and beat practitioners. In 2007, he died suddenly after drinking.

The above is only a brief account of the cases of some of those who participated in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. The reason I wrote this down is not for revenge, but to express my deep sympathy for them. I want to tell those people who do not believe, that good deeds have good returns, and evil will meet with retribution; do not destroy yourselves in exchange for some trivial benefits. It will be too late to regret when retribution arrives.
