(Clearwisdom.net) TAIPEI, Taiwan- the third Chinese New Year Spectacular performance by the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) Company in Taipei attracted people from all societal circles. The event, held at the Taipei International Conference Center, presented exquisite dance performances, gorgeous colors, and a state of the art backdrop that matched perfectly the stories in the performance.

Mr. Zhang Liquan is a renowned Taiwanese artist. He paints, writes in calligraphy, and performs seal cutting. He has won many national and local awards. Mr. Zhang watched the Spectacular with his wife on the evening of February 27. He was impressed with the superb quality of the show, the stage setup, the choreography and the backdrop that correlated with each scene. He highly recommended the show, "The 3D backdrop is extraordinary. This is the first time I have seen it used in such manner. It's really powerful, vivid and thrilling. It's fantastic!"

Mr. Zhang thought the programs presented distinct yet balanced softness and masculinity. "The colors used are especially brilliant. It caught everyone's attention immediately."

Mr. Zhang talked about the scene "The Five Millennia Begin": "The drum caught my attention the minute it was played. Brilliant!" He also was impressed by the talent and elegance displayed in The Poet's Vision. Nothing escaped his attention, including the firm strength and sublimation of life told in 'Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution'.

He said people shouldn't miss such an outstanding performance for anything.

Businessman Jiang Xinming has seen many shows over the years, but the Spectacular is different from all the rest, "The artists are young but have excellent fundamental skills. A show like this definitely makes everyone who sees it feel good."

He praised the unique backdrop, "This is the first time I see a screen used in such way. It makes you believe that people walked from far away to and out of the screen and then later returned. It's a special feeling." The motion picture on the backdrop in the Yi Ethnic Dance made Jiang yearn to live in such a place, "The village looks so clear and refreshing. I really want to live there."

Every scene was special, including 'The Five Millennia Begin', so he exclaimed, "They look happy and energetic. It feels like they were doing exactly what they enjoy doing. It makes us happy too."

He assured us that he would return again with his family and friends, "It's a marvelous show!"

Mr. Weng Jian is spokesperson for a securities firm. A friend of his recommended the show to him. The vast and profound Chinese culture demonstrated in the Spectacular touched Mr. Jian, "Through the artists great skills, the show introduced me to Chinese culture and touched my greatly."

He thought that the stage setup and the 3D backdrop were unique, "I've never seen such kind of setup. It's really good. The show combines history and culture from different areas and demonstrated the true Chinese culture."

Mr. Weng encouraged young people to attend the show so they can better understand the Chinese culture.
