(Clearwisdom.net) Approximately 400 Falun Gong practitioners are presently incarcerated in the three divisions of Masanjia Women's Forced Labor Camp. There are more than 100 in Division 1 and Division 2, which also hold other detainees, and about 260 in Division 3, which holds only Falun Gong practitioners.

Prior to the Beijing Summer Olympics Games, about 50 practitioners were transferred from the Beijing Dispatch Department to Masanjia by overnight train. Most of them were older. Their heads were covered with black cloth bags. Police escorting them wore white long jackets, white gloves, and white masks and carried guns.

All detainees are held in a four-story building. More than 200 detainees, including non-practitioners, are locked up on the west side of the second and third floors, with an unknown numbers of practitioners. About 200 detainees are held on the west side of the fourth floor, and about 30 are on the east side of the fourth floor. All of them are Falun Gong practitioners.

The rooms right across the stairs on the second, third, and fourth floors have a sign that says, "Storage Room." These rooms are used to torture practitioners, as are the rooms on the east side of the second and third floors. The "Storage Rooms" can only hold three or four people, standing. There is a bedstead in the room with a pair of handcuffs hanging from the top and many books that slander Master and Falun Gong. There are bloodstains on the concrete floor. Most practitioners who detained there are hung in the air with both hands cuffed, their feet tied, and their mouths sealed with tape. Loud, dreadful music is played. Some rooms have folding beds, which are used for force-feeding or torturing practitioners.

During a rainstorm an older practitioner from Dalian City was tortured in this room. Her hands and feet became disabled. Her miserable cries resounded throughout the whole building.

The east side of the fourth floor is the "Strictly Controlled" area, with about 30 practitioners currently being held there 24 hours a day. Most of the time they are forced to sit long hours on a low bench. Whenever a guard tortures a practitioner, other practitioners go on a hunger strike. Once in the dining room, all 30 practitioners called out together, "Falun Dafa is good!" Eventually, all of them were tortured.

The following is a list of the practitioners currently being (or have been) "strictly controlled:"

Ms. Jie Guihua has served her term and an additional term of half a year but has still not been released. She has been subjected to several force-feedings and has difficulty walking because of torture.

Ms. Sheng Lianying was subjected to several force-feedings and different forms of torture. Electric shocks left severe scars on her face.

Ms. Xia Ning and Ms. Xue Meihua are under "strict control."

Ms. Zhou Guimin has been force-fed many times.

Ms. Li Hong had one of her legs disabled from her first stay Masanjia.

Ms. Zhang Yinglin had her arm broken by team head Zhang Cunguang. Ms. Zhang is presently detained on the second or third floor.

Ms. Wang Guiping suffered torture on her feet and is currently detained on the second or third floor.

The first thing a practitioner must endure when arriving at the camp is brainwashing. Guards assign collaborators to do the so-called "reformation." If a practitioner refuses to give up her belief, brutal beatings, electric shocks, hanging, being handcuffed with the arms behind the back, or the stretching torture follow.

Guards force the practitioners to recite the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) rules and to sing its songs. Once a month they make the practitioners sign the detainee evaluation form. If a practitioner "clarifies the truth" and refuses to sign the form, she is tortured.

Beijing practitioner Ms. Sun Xiaoxiang once refused to sign the form. Team head Zhao Guorong viciously beat her. He rode on her body and beat her face, making her nose and mouth bleed. He stepped on her and crushed her chest with his shoe. Ms. Sun's chest hurt severely when she returned. She had to try to keep from coughing, making her breathless. The next day she was still forced to do hard labor.

Dalian practitioner Ms. Zhong Sujuan is almost 60 years old. Team head Zhao Guorong once beat her with something covered with cloth, which would not leave any sign of abuse. After being beaten, Ms. Zhong was unable to eat anything for several meals and would vomit whenever she ate.

When Xingcheng practitioner Ms. Li Qing was tortured by being hung up. The guards played loud, raucous music to cover their crimes.

Dalian practitioner Ms. Lin Junyan was hit in the stomach and had difficulty breathing afterwards.

On October 7 and 8, 2008, seven practitioners including Lu Lin, Wang Cunying, Qi Zhenhong, Zhong Sujuan, and Zhang Jinlin were all tortured by being hung up by handcuffs in extremely painful positions from bunk beds. The arms are spread apart, with the hands handcuffed on either sides of the bed. One cannot raise the back or squat. The weight of the whole body falls on the wrists. Enduring this torture for just a few minutes can make one sweat like crazy from the extreme pain. The handcuffs cut into the flesh, which bleeds. Some practitioners were tortured like this for one day and one night, and some for two days and one night, or even longer. Dalian practitioner Ms. Wang Cunying still feels numbness in her hands from the torture. The guards refused to give her any medical treatment.

Tieling practitioner Ms. Zhang Yinglin was hung up for two days and nights. When she was released, she had no feeling in the right side of her body, and she couldn't take care of herself. Before she was hung up, she also suffered a brutal beating and electric shocks. To make the electric shocks more painful, the guards took her shoes off and poured water on her, then they shocked her. While suffering the torture, Ms. Zhang still kept calling out, "Falun Dafa is good." Guard Zhao Jinhua and several others sealed her mouth tightly with three layers of wide, clear tape. The tape was left in place from 9:00 am. to 7:00 p.m., causing her lower jaw pain whenever she ate. On December 30, 2008, when Division Head Zhang Cunguang and two others tried to force her to press her fingerprint on an evaluation form, they broke her right arm. When Zhang Yinglin was released from the labor camp on March 10, 2009, she was still unable to take care of herself.

Benxi practitioner Ms. Qi Zhenhong was hung up for two days and one night. She was not allowed to eat or drink and had a mental breakdown upon her release. When she was taken to the dining room, all the practitioners there shed tears when they saw her. Ms. Qi was taken away in December. No one knows whether she was released or was sent elsewhere.
