Waking Police Officers Up with Righteous Thoughts and Compassion

Aug. 22, 2009 |   By a practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) On June 22, 2009, the director of the residential committee and two police officers came to my home. They appeared quite unfriendly, so I immediately sent forth righteous thoughts to remove any evil spirits that were holding on to them while I welcomed them in.

A police officer showed me a "search warrant" and a "police permit" and then gave me a document for me to sign. My thoughts were: "These people are very young and I need to figure out how to save them from committing crimes against Dafa."

I started telling them that Falun Gong was being persecuted, that the self-immolation in Tiananmen Square was a fabrication, that Falun Gong was widely accepted worldwide, and that blessings would come to those who were kind to Falun Gong practitioners. Furthermore, I told them that to persecute practitioners would bring harm to them and their families.

While I was clarifying the facts about Falun Gong to them, they were searching every room. They found Dafa books, Minghui Weekly magazines, and Dafa CD's. One policeman did not dare look at Master's portrait on the wall. Another officer was reading the Minghui Weekly magazine. I sensed that sending forth righteous thoughts had had a positive effect on them.

I took back the Dafa books and let them have other Dafa materials, because reading those materials would be beneficial to them. Furthermore, we had not had the opportunity to give them these materials in the past. My husband remarked jokingly, "When you have the opportunity to go to Hong Kong or Taiwan, you will see many of these statements: 'Falun Dafa is good,' 'Chinese communists will perish,' 'Do the three withdrawals for your safety.'"

Their original intent was to arrest us. They saw that we were firm in our convictions. One of them made a call and three undercover police officers came. I smiled at them and continued to send righteous thoughts to help them. Their leader said, "As a senior citizen, you should do your practice at home." I was truly happy for them, because now they are awake.
