Policeman Wen Kejian Stubbornly Followed CCP Orders to Persecute Falun Gong and Died in a Car Accident

Aug. 25, 2009

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' note: In both Western and Chinese cultures, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The universe will reward acts that are in harmony with this principle, while doing things such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

In October of 2002, Wen Kejian, a policeman in his thirties from Pinghu Police Branch of Yichang Public Security Bureau, Xu Hong and Zhou Xiangdong, the head of the State Security Division of Pinghu Police Branch, went to Xiba, Yichang City to ransack Mr. Wang Wenlin's home. Their plan was to put Mr. Wang into Yichang Brainwashing Center.

Many policemen have learned the truth about Falun Dafa and were against Xu Hong's harassment of Mr. Wang and his family. The policemen said to Mr. Wang and his family members secretly, "We all know the truth. We'll never do this bad thing (taking Mr. Wang to a brainwashing center). We live in the same neighborhood and will be neighbors for a long time to come. Only stupid people want to stand alongside Jiang Zemin. We just take it as a farce."

At Mr. Wang's home, most policemen just stood by or walked around his home pretending to look for something. They did not want to do what Xu Hong had required of them. Only Wen Kejian tried to find something. With the fear of not finding any "evidence," he personally searched in all the cabinets, and inside and under the beds. Mr. Wang Wenlin said to Wen Kejian, "We are nearly 60 years old and are kind-hearted, law-abiding citizens. My colleagues and neighbors can all testify to that. You should differentiate between good and bad. Retribution will fall on those who persecute good people."

Wen Kejian said coldly, "It is worthwhile to die for the Communist Party. I do not believe that all good deeds will be rewarded, while all evil deeds will be punished. I'll find things even if I have to dig three feet into the ground." Later, Wen Kejian even beat Mr. Wang Wenlin.

Not long after that Wen Kejian was seriously wounded in a traffic accident and died. He was only in his thirties. The other person in the car suffered only minor scratches. At his funeral, many police sighed to see Mr. Wang's prediction come true. He did not heed the compassionate warning to avoid evildoing and suffered an untimely death.
