Do Not Repeat the Old Mistakes Made by Jia Xuri

Jan. 17, 2010

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' note: In both Western and Chinese cultures, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The universe will reward acts that are in harmony with this principle, while doing things such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Jia Xuri was a teacher at the Fourth Middle School in Yinan, Shandong Province. He always wanted to get rich in a hurry even with dirty money. He was reluctant to perform his job as a teacher, so he obtained a contract with his school to keep his position without pay. Then he started his own unstable business as a salesman. He sometimes indulged his clients during their meetings.

Jia Xuri's mother is Ms. Huang Junfang. As a Falun Dafa practitioner, she had gained good health and was kind and tolerant. However, because of her Falun Dafa practice, her pension was withheld under a policy of Jiang Zemin's regime to make Falun Gong practitioners suffer financially as well as physically. Jia Xuri didn't resent his mother being persecuted. Indeed, he cooperated with 610 Office villains. In 2005, he personally turned over his mother to the Linyi brainwashing center. The severe persecution permanently damaged Ms. Huang's mental health. Later, Jia Xuri and his sister hosted a banquet and invited the 610 Office staff to show his thanks to them for unfreezing his mother's pension. Someone criticized him and advised him, "What you have done not only hurt your mother but also hurt your own morality." Jia Xuri ignorantly said, "I will not regret what I have done to my mother--even if I am made to die 100 times."

Goodness and evil will be awarded accordingly; it may come early or late--but it will come. In October 2009, Jia Xuri died suddenly from a brain hemorrhage; he was only 46.

Today we recount this painful story and in so doing wish to wake up those who persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Remember this lesson and beware of falling into the abyss.
