A Reminder to Those Practitioners Who Are Not Diligent

Oct. 28, 2010 |   By a Dafa practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) I'm a practitioner who started Dafa cultivation prior to July 20, 1999, but over the years, I have not been diligent. I just read the Dafa books and didn't do the three things. I rarely did anything to save sentient beings. I had the attachments of fear, selfishness, seeking profit, showing off, and the pursuit of comfort. Teacher had been giving me hints in my dreams, but I just wasn't enlightening to it.

Last year, with the help of a fellow practitioner, I began to step forward, but I still had serious fears and did not want to go out to distribute truth-clarifying materials. While I understood that I needed to eliminate this attachment, I still did not actually practice it. A few days ago, I had a dream that I was walking barefoot on a barren mountain. I then realized that my own world was desolate and uninhabited, and that I had to save sentient beings. I went along with fellow practitioners to distribute truth-clarifying materials.

At the beginning, I was still shaking with fear, but I was fine after three days. It was actually not that hard. My previous difficulties were due to my human mindset. When we actually clarify the truth, it is a very simple matter. As we do more, we will realize that it is very urgent, as many sentient beings are waiting to be saved. When I do the three things every day, my mood is good. I know it is my knowing side that feels good.

My other attachments were quickly eliminated, as I only thought of how to save sentient beings, and my human mindset was eliminated. But in the process, one must have righteous thoughts and rationality.

I hope those fellow practitioners who have not come out to save sentient beings will do so and will honor our prehistoric vows.
