(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Liang Shaolin was an engineer at the Maoming Petroleum and Chemical Corporation in Guangdong Province. In October 1999, she was sentenced to two years in a forced labor camp because she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. Because she remained firm in her belief in Falun Dafa, her term was extended to five and a half years. She was brutally tortured and also fired from her job. On September 24, 2009, 17 officers from the Maoxi Police Department used an electric saw to cut her double layer door open, broke into Ms. Liang's home and took her away. Her personal property was ransacked. Even a bank book belonging to her younger sister was taken away. She was first detained at the Maoming Brainwashing Center and then transferred to the Maoming First Detention Center.

Since Ms. Liang Shaolin was arrested on September 24, 2009, her family has not been allowed to visit her. Her family and friends did not have any information about her. Now they have managed to find out that she was sentenced to nine years in prison on May 2010. Her whereabouts are unknown. She is most likely in the Guangdong Women's Prison.
