(Clearwisdom.net) The police recently seized two fellow practitioners. When we shared our views on this, one practitioner said that this was the situation we were facing now, and that it was the same everywhere. Another practitioner mentioned, "According to an internal regime source, the government is compiling Falun Gong practitioners’ names. Each and every practitioner will be ordered to fill out a form and sign his or her name; otherwise, he or she will be sent to a brainwashing center. They have already decided to send practitioners X an Y to the brainwashing center." He further stated that it was the same everywhere in China.

I do not have contact with many practitioners, so I do not know if other practitioners share the same thoughts. I want to share my views. Please point out anything improper.

We all know from the Fa that we should completely negate the old forces’ arrangements. I want to ask fellow practitioners to think about who arranged this situation? The old forces! So, whether the old forces or other factors arranged it, for sure it was not arranged by Master, so how could we acknowledge it? Of course we need to negate it. But how can we do to truly negate it?

Several years ago a practitioner who worked in a truth-clarification material production site was told that the site had been destroyed, that the city police were already aware of who was involved, that they had deemed this a major case, and they were looking for her everywhere. The police even arranged for people who knew her to hang around the major intersections to try to catch her. In the very beginning, fear overcame her. She could not send righteous thoughts calmly, and her hands and feet were cold. All her thoughts focused on how to deal with the vicious police. She felt more and more afraid and even wanted to leave the area. When the alarm rang to remind her to send righteous thoughts, she awakened all of sudden. She thought, “If the evil really did arrange for the police to persecute me, I still can blaze through it. No matter what sufferings I might encounter, what awaits me is all wonderful. But about those who get involved in the persecution? Although they may do it passively, they still have to pay for the sin they have committed. If each one of them also represents a colossal cosmos or even a gigantic firmament, what will happen to the numerous beings in their heavenly worlds?”

After she realized this, she immediately sent this righteous thought: “For the countless beings, I never allow any kind of persecution to happen to me!” Suddenly the fear was gone, and bountiful compassion came to her. She cried. She knew that the evil had been eliminated. In the end, police attempts to persecute those involved in the material site ended in vain.

Master told us,

“As I've said, everything that happens today in the ordinary society is the result of Dafa disciples' thoughts. Even though the old forces do exist, if you don't have those thoughts they can't do anything. When your righteous thoughts are strong enough the old forces can't do a thing.”

“What I wanted was to have no sentient being interfere with the Fa-rectification, or even participate in it.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.,” 2002)

Harmonizing what Master wants is the wish, the responsibility, and the mission of each and every Dafa disciple. Realizing this, when we send righteous thoughts we should not simply eliminate the evil and demand the immediate, unconditional release of those illegally detained Dafa practitioners. We also want to offer salvation to those sentient beings whom the evildoers have seized.

One practitioner whose home had been ransacked and who had been illegally detained heard other practitioners’ accounts during an experience sharing. She heard how they had faced the evil and how they escaped with the power of their righteous thoughts and actions. She said admiringly, “Others have righteous thoughts. How could I not have them? Now I often think about what I would do if the evildoers came, how to deal with them, and how could I have righteous thoughts.” I asked her, “Why do you think that the evildoers would come to interfere with and persecute you? You are doing the most righteous things. You are assisting Master in rectifying the Fa and saving sentient beings. No evils are allowed to interfere with you. They don't even qualify to come into your dimensional field. Eliminate them if they come. Who would dare to come? Dafa disciples are negating the persecution, not resisting the persecution amid persecution.”

There is another point. Sometimes one may feel that one's righteous thoughts are not strong, and they are greatly interfered with by miscellaneous thoughts. Master said, “…the Fa can strengthen righteous thoughts.” (“Drive Out Interference” in Essentials for Further Advancement II)

I then realized that the righteous thoughts are not “sent out,” and rather they emerge via cultivation. So, we should study the Fa more, because only the Fa can strengthen our righteous thoughts.
