(Clearwisdom.net) Shen Yun Performing Arts delighted the audience as it graced the stage at the Aula Magna in Louvain-La-Neuve.

Among the enthusiastic crowd at the Tuesday evening show was Roger Helmer, a member of the European Parliament representing East Midlands, UK.

"I had a wonderful time!" Mr. Helmer said. "I was just thinking, 'It's fantastic, it's so full of energy, it's so elegant.'"

Mr. Helmer said that he was moved by the dance, Tibetan Dance of Praise. "It just seemed to have a combination of energy and elegance, and the costumes were wonderful. It really was uplifting and exciting," he said.

"It's wonderful!" Mr. Helmer exclaimed, and said he would recommend the show to his friends. "They should just come and see the show if they can."

Shen Yun Performing Arts: 'A Superior Level'

Dr. Serrano, professor Emeritus at the Catholic University of Louvain and his wife, Anna Maria Serrano, who is involved in Musicology at the Catholic University of Louvain, were also in the audience.

"I found the show extraordinary!" said Ms. Serrano. "For me, the Chinese dance presented in this manner is of a very high level. They are dances on a very high level--a superior level--therefore, for me it is an extraordinary show."

Ms. Serrano was moved by the performances and said, "I will advise people who have not already had the opportunity to see this show to see it before it leaves, because it is truly worth the effort."

Dr. Serrano added, "I am impressed by the delicacy and the spirit which emerges during the performance. The show is extraordinary!"

Continuing, Dr. Serrano said, "I am impressed by the precision of the movements and by the beauty of the presentation. Behind the technique there is also a presence, one has the impression that the artists are together presenting something that belongs to the deepest part of themselves."

'It's More Than Magnificent'

Mr. Kayaerts, a retired banker, and Ms. Naelten, a professor, came to see the last show of Shen Yun Performing Arts Touring Company at the Aula Magna on Tuesday, May 11. "We liked it very much," said Mr. Kayaerts after the show.

"I think all of the pieces are wonderful with the music very, very captivating," he said, referring to the Shen Yun Touring Company Orchestra which plays original scores to accompany all of the dance performances.

Ms. Naelten said of the show, "Fantastic! Everything is beautiful."

She appreciated seeing classical Chinese culture presented through Shen Yun Performing Arts. "Very nice; very nice things. I think that it gives you an image of another culture, of other traditions."

Everything in the show has been "presented very, very well," she said, and the show gave a good view of China's culture and history. "Artistically, it's more than magnificent. It gives you an impression of everything with the different pieces."

She said that's what impressed her about the show, a real and comprehensive portrayal of China.

"I think it [the show] is very picturesque. It's really the reality. It is not only very close to the reality, but it is the reality over there in China. But I think it's a good thing to go into detail on this, to show a bit about the Tibetan culture, and other cultures in this way in [these] picturesque pieces," she said.

"I think it's a wonderful and a very beautiful idea. When this group comes again, I'm certainly going to come with other people to see this show again."

Both Mr. Kayaerts and Ms. Naelten said they will recommend the show to their friends.

Ms. Naelten said she'll tell them about the show by describing what she saw--without telling them too much--so that they'll "have that pleasure to see it as well."

She said she would tell them about the show by "telling about the beauty of the dances, of the choreography, of the costumes."

"The costumes are wonderful. The landscape, the way everything is presented. I would tell a bit to raise their interest but not too much, so that that there will remain much for them to discover."
