July 9, 2010 |   By a Clearwisdom correspondent from Jilin Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Han Yuqin, 34, lives in Jianghe Town, Fusong County, Baishan City, Jilin Province. Officers from the Fusong County Domestic Security Division and Police Department broke into her home and arrested her at the end of 2009 and held her in the Jilin Province No.1 Women's Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Han, who was originally healthy and broad-minded, now suffers from all kinds of health problems such as with her heart, arthritis, and severe insomnia, resulting from physical torture and mental torments in the past six months. She is still in the camp.

Songjianghe Town Police Station officer Wang Wei, along with Guo Jun from the Fusong County Domestic Security Division and Li Wei from the Songjianghe Town Police Departmen, broke into Ms. Han's home on December 29, 2009. They arrested her and ransacked her home. Wang Gang, officer from the Songjianghe Town Police Department, deceived Ms. Han 's husband and forced him to sign a document.

Ms. Han developed heart problems and high blood pressure while in detention because of tremendous pressure and fright. Guo Jun knew that the physical examination had disqualified Ms. Han, but he bribed Fusong County Hospital doctors to falsify her medical records and then sent Ms. Han to a forced labor camp. She is now in Division 1 in the Jilin Women's Forced Labor Camp. Duan Yajuan (police badge No: 2200243) is an officer in charge of Ms. Han's case.

Persecution in the forced labor camp

Since Ms. Han has been in Division 1 in the camp, she has been subjected to abuse and mistreatment. Division head Yan Lifeng (police badge No.: 2200266) and guard Duan Yajuan are the chief perpetrators.

Guards forced Ms. Han to read slanderous materials every day and instructed former practitioners who have been "[[reformed]]" and other criminals to try to "reform" her. Ms. Han refused to cooperate with them, so she was often subjected to humiliation and intimidation. She was also forced to stand or sit for a long time. Sometimes, she was forced to sit from early morning until past 11:00 p.m. Criminal inmates are assigned to take turns monitoring her, forbidding her from closing her eyes or freely moving around.

Long-term abuse and mistreatment has caused Ms. Han's physical condition to become worse and worse. She often shakes, her legs lack in strength, and she has developed rheumatism. She walks with difficulty and pain. Her heart problem is worsening, and she often suffers insomnia.
