(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Long Tingfan from Jingmen City was illegally arrested days ago, and was taken to the Electric Power Hotel in the city. He was later able to escape. Detailed information is under investigation.

Mr. Long's entire family practices Falun Gong. In July 1999, he and his wife were each subjected to three years of forced labor for appealing for justice for Falun Gong. Their underage child was in high school and was left alone with no one to take care of him.

After she returned from the forced labor camp, Mr. Long's wife, Ms. Zhou Ping, was sentenced to five years in prison for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was held in the Wuhan Women's Prison. She was fired from her job at the Wenfeng branch of the Jingmen City Industrial and Commercial Bank. Mr. Long lived off his rice store, raised their child and took care of both his own and his wife's parents.

Five years of imprisonment almost left Ms. Zhou paralyzed. She had difficulty walking. But through practicing Falun Gong, she soon regained her health. The nearly destroyed family was once again filled with laughter and happiness.

However, Mr. Long was arrested again days ago. This is a big blow to his family.

We also learned that the Jingmen City authorities sent agents to follow several practitioners, and ransacked Ms. Pei Hong's home in the Shihua Community.
