(Clearwisdom.net) On August 10, 2010, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Ao Yiwen from Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province was passing out Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials in Pingxiang City's Shangli District, in Futian Township. She was arrested by agents from a domestic security group, and has been detained at the Shangli District Detention Center.
In her thirties, Ms. Ao lives on Dong Avenue in Pingxiang City's Anyuan District. The day after her arrest, on August 11, a dozen or so policemen from the 610 Offices of Pingxiang City and Anyuan District, as well as the Dong Avenue neighborhood community office and police station, ransacked her home, confiscating Falun Gong truth-clarifying DVDs and some personal belongings. They told Ms. Ao's family, "She will be sentenced to twenty years in prison."
Ms. Ao has been on a hunger strike at the detention center, and her life is in danger. Prison guards sent her to the hospital for intravenous fluids.
Ms. Ao had quit school after graduating from junior high school. She began doing drugs, smoking and drinking. She started cheating people for money to pay for her drug habit. Ms. Ao had a short temper, and was very anemic, which made her feel cold all the time.
Later, Ms. Ao was sent to a detention center because of drug use. While there, the prison guards assigned her to guard Falun Gong practitioners. Under the compassionate influence of those Falun Gong practitioners, Ms. Ao started to practice Falun Dafa.
After practicing Dafa, Ms. Ao quit smoking, alcohol and drugs. Her health improved, as her anemia and sensitivity to cold disappeared. Her view of the world underwent a fundamental change, which balanced her temper. She learned to think of others before herself and became a good worker. Her relationships with her own family and in-laws became harmonious.
