"In the magnificent, grand feats of validating the Fa with rationality, clarifying the truth with wisdom, and spreading the Fa and saving people with mercy, each Dafa disciple's path of Consummation is being perfected. At this great moment in history, every steady step is a glorious historic testimony, and is incomparably-magnificent mighty virtue. All this is being recorded in the history of the cosmos. The magnificent Fa and the magnificent epoch are forging the most magnificent Enlightened Beings." ("The Disciples' Magnificence" in Essentials for Further Advancement II)

This is the path that Master arranged for us. I enlightened that, on this path, Master not only arranged how we get rid of our attachments, He also arranged the path on which we can generate divine wisdom and compassion. Only if we continuously get rid of attachments and fill ourselves with the divine things, can we then completely negate everything arranged by the old forces, do the three things well, save more sentient beings, and fulfill our vows that we made before history.

Treat People With Compassion

I began to teach a new class last year, and I saw that the morals of the students were badly corrupted. I once wondered whether I should explain the truth about Falun Gong to the students. However, thinking that predestined relationships had brought us together, I decided to clarify the truth to them anyway. After I did so, a student threatened to report me to the police saying, "If I was a policeman or a soldier, I would arrest and shoot you!" I then told him more facts about Falun Gong; however, because he was poisoned by the Party culture, he repeated the Communist propaganda. I was not afraid at that time and had no thoughts that I might suffer persecution from the old forces. Instead, I only considered, "I need to look within now! There must be some attachment or loophole in me."

I then calmed down to study the Fa and quickly discovered my attachments. When I clarified the truth to the whole class, this student said some bad words about Dafa. Thinking that his behavior in general was also badly inferior, I looked down on him and asked him to leave the classroom. I realized that I had already fought with an ordinary person whom I should have saved; having picked up such an attachment to fighting, how could I be compassionate to the student?

After finding this attachment, I sent forth righteous thoughts to clear it away. In the following days, I considered this student as a sentient being and treated him with compassion. Sometimes, I also chatted with him about topics in ordinary society. One day later, he suddenly held my hands, saying, "Teacher, I often use foul language. For my words several days ago, please forgive me!" I found that he did fundamentally change his opinions about Dafa. Afterwards, I gradually explained the truth about Falun Gong to him. He took the initiative to ask for truth-clarifying materials. Following his lead, several students around him also took the initiative to learn the truth and requested truth-clarifying materials.

I shared this experience with a fellow practitioner. What the practitioner told me deeply impressed me. The practitioner said, "Master once told us, if we could save half the people in Mainland China, Master would feel very happy for us. This is Master's consideration for us. Master can save more people; however, the hearts of disciples couldn't contain so many Chinese people!" After Master's lecture "Fa Teaching Given at the Fa Conference Marking the Tenth Anniversary of the Minghui Website's Founding" was published, I realized that if we want to save 70-80% or even more Chinese people, we must open our hearts wide and have great compassion. And only if we continuously look within and eliminate our attachments, can we then upgrade to a higher level within the Fa, open our hearts wider and be able to save more sentient beings.

Master said,

"If you do well, mankind will emulate it; if you don't do well, mankind will emulate that as well. So Dafa disciples have to do well." ("Teaching the Fa at the Discussion on Creating Fine Art," July 21, 2003)

I enlightened that Dafa disciples' every word, deed, and thought are not small things. If we do well, it will have a great, positive effect; otherwise, it might cause unthinkable losses. Therefore, we should cultivate righteously at every moment and discipline ourselves strictly.

At my workplace, the conversation topics among my colleagues were always houses, money, or bad jokes. I never participated in those conversations. After a long time, my colleagues felt that Dafa disciples were so great. They felt that Dafa was greatly righteous and realized that the Chinese Communist Party was evil. Afterwards, several colleagues declared publicly in the office, "Please help me quit the Party so that I will have a bright future. This is from the bottom of my heart." There were more than ten colleagues in the office. Later, most of them began to study Zhuan Falun. Those who didn't read Zhuan Falun also had a very positive attitude towards Dafa. Some fellow practitioners worked at the same company with me. They also did very well, as some colleagues who didn't work with me also had a very righteous view of Dafa. When I gave them truth-clarifying materials or Shen Yun DVDs, they accepted them happily and said that they would study them carefully.

Master said,

"What has been given to you is the most righteous of paths, but it is a narrow one. When your intention is wrong or there are issues with how you go about things, the path will be difficult. The path is very narrow, and it may look like it can't be traveled. But in fact, you can do it." ("Fa Teaching Given at the NTDTV Meeting")

I enlightened, as long as we followed Master's requirements, although the path is narrow, it would become wider as we walk further.

Trying to Do My Best

I often, in a timely manner, shared my experiences and techniques of making truth-clarifying materials on the Internet so that fellow practitioners could work more effectively. Each time before I uploaded the information to the Internet, I reviewed the steps carefully and tried it multiple times. Only after I was sure everything worked well, did I then post it on the website. Once I found something wrong with it, I would delete it at once, so as not to waste fellow practitioners' time or money.

If fellow practitioners had difficulties with the technology, I tried my best to help them. Besides teaching them the technology, I mainly discussed with practitioners how to study the Fa well, computer security, and the cultivation of speech, because we all know that the key to doing well on Dafa projects is our xinxing rather than the level of skill. When I taught some older practitioners, they learned things slowly due to their age and education. But seeing their pure hearts for saving sentient beings, I often encouraged them. They then learned faster.

For quite a long time, fellow practitioners were interested in Udumbara flowers. However, because of their lack of experience in identifying the flower, practitioners sometimes wrongly thought that lacewings' eggs were Udumbara flowers. Actually I already knew about lacewings' eggs when I was very young. But when fellow practitioners told me that there were Udumbara flowers somewhere, I was still heavily attached to it. I went there, took pictures, and then submitted the pictures to websites. I didn't get rid of this attachment until some practitioners did an experiment, through which I personally saw small moths come out of the lacewings' eggs.

I looked within deeply and found my attachments of meddling, curiosity, and showing off. When I shared this with fellow practitioners, one practitioner also said, "I would rather believe that the fake flower was real instead of being exposed by others. When fellow practitioners proved my Udumbara flowers were lacewings' eggs, I felt very disappointed! How serious my attachment is!"

The same thing happened among some other practitioners. When the lacewings' eggs appeared at one practitioner's home, this practitioner gloated and spoke in a self-confident tone. Practitioners who heard of this news, regardless of how far away they lived, came to take a look. After they left feeling satisfied, they would talk about it whenever they could. Practitioners who couldn't come often thought about it. When ordinary people pointed out that they were lacewings' eggs, practitioners didn't believe it and rationalized that ordinary people had little wisdom. Worse still, some practitioners even put the lacewings' eggs in front of Master's image and burned incense and kowtowed to it. These kinds of actions appeared because of attachments. Therefore, the fake Udumbara flowers did lead a number of practitioners to be attached, as well as some practitioners who were in charge of media websites. The evil used this loophole to slander us, and we did cause a loss.

Actually this is an attachment to the external. What we should truly cherish is Master's Dafa. What we should be really happy about is people being saved. Because the lacewings' eggs situation has occurred widely among some practitioners, I wrote it down and wanted to share with everyone to upgrade as one body.

Some Experiences of Rescuing Fellow Practitioners

Two practitioners in my area were arrested one after another by the Communist Party, but they were both rescued in a short time. Our experience during this process was that we needed to discipline every thought according to the Fa, walk on the path arranged by Master, and completely negate the old forces' arrangements.

When we got together to deal with this situation, we mainly discussed how to rescue him or her, and we rarely talked about the practitioner's shortcomings. The old forces thought that the practitioner should be persecuted; however, we didn't recognize that at all. Only after we rescued the practitioner, did we then share cultivation experiences and talk about how to get rid of attachments to upgrade ourselves. In addition, we paid more and more attention to the shortcomings of the whole body during the rescue process, which is to say that everyone paid attention to his or her own shortcomings and looked within. We just viewed it as everyone's shortcomings caused the loophole of the whole body. When everyone got rid of the attachment and upgraded within the Fa, the whole body would become more purified. In this way, the situation could be solved by Master in a flash, and the practitioners would be released.

We used the power of the whole body to rescue practitioners. After one practitioner was arrested, we spread the information to as many practitioners as possible in a very short time. Then everyone took certain responsibilities. Some practitioners sent righteous thoughts; some requested for his or her release; some exposed the facts on the Internet, and some transferred the practitioner's property to a safe place. We rarely expected anything from the practitioner's relatives or the practitioner himself or herself. If we could meet with the practitioner, we just urged him or her to send righteous thoughts more, recite the Fa more, and clarify the truth more to completely negate the old forces' arrangements.
