(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 12 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 8 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Gongzhuling, Jilin Province] Practitioners Mr. Cui Guorong, Mr. Zhang Jie and Mr. Wang Shuhe held in Gongzhuling Prison
2. [Qinghuangdao, Hebei Province] Mr. Pei Yanqing Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Pei Yanqing is from Shandong Village, Mutoudeng Town, Qinglong County, Qinghuangdao City. At around 9 a.m. on September 1, 2010, Mr. Pei went to Dahenan Village to talk to people about Falun Gong and was reported. Mutoudeng Police Station officers arrested him and confiscated Falun Gong books and materials. Mr. Pei is detained in the Qinglong County Detention Center.

3. [Gaozhou, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liang Xiufeng Arrested
On the morning of September 3, 2010, Ms. Liang Xiufang from Gaozhou went to the Shanwei District to distribute truth clarification materials and was arrested.

4. [Jilin, Jilin Province] Mr. Yu Danjiang Detained at Jilin City Detention Center
On July 15, 2010, police arrested Mr. Yu Danjiang, 45, at his home and took him to the Xiaoguang Village Brainwashing Center at Shahezi. Mr. Yu is now detained in the Jilin City 3rd Detention Center.
Mr. Yu is a former employee of the Jilin City Refrigerator Factory. He went to Beijing to appeal for the right to practice Falun Gong in 1999 and 2000. He was arrested and sent to a forced labor camp for a one-year term both times.
At around 1 p.m. on July 5, 2004, two police officers from the Gaoxin District Police Station of Jilin City broke into Mr. Yu's sister's home. They took her to the police station and confiscated all her Falun Dafa books.

5. [Xuchang, Henan Province] Ms. Li Shuhua Imprisoned in Xinxiang Women's Prison
In August 2010, Ms. Li Shuhua from Xuchang was secretly taken to Xinxiang Women's Prison.
Ms. Li is 49 years old. On the evening of July 13, 2009, she and practitioner Ms. Cao Fengyu, now imprisoned in a forced labor camp, were arrested while talking to people about Falun Gong in Qilidianxiang, and taken to the Xuchang City Detention Center.
6. [Tianjin] Ms. Gao Chunping Arrested
On the afternoon of August 31, 2010, officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Ninghe County Police Bureau and Dabei Town Police Station broke into Ms. Gao Chunping's home in Dabei Town. The police ransacked her home and arrested her.

7. [Baoqing County, Heilongjiang Province] Police Ransack the Home of Mr. Lu Wenzhong and Ms. Wei Yanhong
On the afternoon of August 31, 2010, police officer Yan Suowu from the 597 Farm Police Station and security guards from the 597 Mine of Baoqing County ransacked the home of practitioners Mr. Lu Wenzhong and Ms. Wei Yanhong.
8. [Dalian, Liaoning Province] Mr. Lin Zhiliang and Ms. Ji Shuying Detained
In July 2009, practitioners Mr. Lin Zhiliang and his wife, Ms. Ji Shuying, were arrested and taken to the Yaojia Detention Center of Dalian. In May 2010, Ganjiangzi Court of Dalian put them on trial secretly. Both practitioners are still in the detention center.
9. [Jianji, Jilin Province] Ms. Meng Xianbin and Her Daughter Ms. Meng Dan Arrested
On July 20, 2010, Ms. Meng Xianbin and her daughter, Ms. Meng Dan, were arrested at home by officers from the Jiangong Police Station of Jianji. Their home was ransacked. On July 21, Ms. Meng Xianbin was released while Ms. Meng Dan was taken to the Jianji Detention Center.
10. [Xinjiang] Xinjiang 5th Prison Extends Term of Practitioner Mr. Zhu Fusheng
Mr. Zhu Fusheng is imprisoned in the Xinjiang 5th Prison. In 2007 when he was talking with inmates about Falun Dafa and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, an inmate reported him to a guard. The guard locked Mr. Zhu into a small cell. Police officer Zhang Yongjun of the 610 Office of Xinjiang and court officials extended Mr. Zhu's prison term from two years to six years.
11. [Donggang, Liaoning Province] Sisters Ms. Xiu Yuan and Ms. Xiu Yan Arrested
At around 10 a.m. on August 5, 2010, Ms. Xiu Yuan and Ms. Xiu Yan were arrested by officers from the Dadong Police Bureau of Donggang for talking to people about Falun Gong. They were taken to the police bureau and interrogated. Ms. Xiu Yan was released the same day. Ms. Xiu Yuan was released from the Baifangzi Detention Center at Dandong on September 4.
12. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Ms. Qiao Guiying and Ms. Qiao Guijuan Arrested
At around 11 a.m. on September 4, 2010, officers from the Hongling Police Station in the Sujiatun District arrested Ms. Qiao Guiying, 49, and Ms. Qiao Guijuan, 44, because they were distributing materials about Falun Gong.
