(Clearwisdom.net) On August 28, 2010, Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Xiujuan Zhang and Ms. Chunfang Tang from the Guye area of Tangshan City, Hebei Province, were illegally arrestedby officers from the Taipingzhuang County Police Station while they were clarifying the truth in Taipingzhuang Market in Qianan City, Hebei Province. During the arrest, the police dragged the women across the market into a police station. Both women lost their shoes in the scuffle.

Ms. Chunfang Tang, 51, was taken to the brainwashing center on the fourth floor of the courthouse of the Qianan City Agricultural Law Enforcement Division (formerly a seed company located on the west side of Qifu Street and the west court of Qianan City Radio and Television Bureau).

Ms. Xiujuan Zhang, 48, was detained on the third floor, No. 22 ward, in the surgical department clinic building, Qianan City People's Hospital. According to insiders, around 1:00 a.m. on August 29, Ms. Zhang plunged from the fourth floor of the building. Her pelvis and femurs were broken, her mouth and eyes were swollen, some of her teeth were missing, and her arms were bruised.

On August 30, Ms. Zhang's daughter went to Qianan City. She asked the police how her mother was so badly injured. The police said that her mother fell when she was alone. Ms. Zhang's daughter then asked the police, "What have you done to my mother? Why would she jump out of a building?" The police officers did not reply. Yulin Yang, head of the brainwashing center, and another person had stopped by the hospital.

Ms. Zhang's case is being further investigated.
