(Clearwisdom.net) On December 8, 2010, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhou Yaogang was followed by police from the Beizhan Police Station in Xihua District, Shijiazhuang City, while he was posting Falun Gong informational materials. Later, 610 Office personnel and policemen from the Beizhan Police Station ransacked Mr. Zhou’s home and arrested him. They confiscated his computer, printer and many other personal belongings. When they found out that Mr. Zhou is an official in the Hebei Provincial Party School, the Xihua District 610 Office immediately reported it to the Hebei City 610 Office to claim credit for the discovery and arrest.

The 610 officers fabricated charges and arrested Mr. Zhou's wife, Wei Lirui, who works in the Qiaoxi District Inland Revenue Department, as well as his wife’s friends, Ms. Xi Shujun, Ms. Liu Suran, Ms. Yin Jinrou and other practitioners.

Mr. Zhou Yaogang, 38, worked at the Hebei Provincial Party School. Since he started to practice Falun Gong, he has been acting according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and has a very good reputation among his neighbors and colleagues.

Mr. Zhou’s wife, Wei Lirui, 39, is also well respected in the Qiaoxi District Inland Revenue Department in Shijiazhuang City. Last year, she sang some songs she wrote in the park with a few of her close friends. Her songs asked people find compassion to truly raise their moral standard in order to obtain a happy life. The CCP authorities concluded, from the songs, that she was a Falun Gong practitioner. They then arrested Ms. Wei Lirui for “disrupting social order” and detained her for 15 days. CCP personnel then used these charges against Mr. Zhou. On the morning of December 21, 2010, they broke into Ms. Wei’s workplace and took her away to try to extract a verbal confession.

The Hebei 610 Office and the Xihua District 610 Office in Shijiazhuang City have been trying to find the other Falun Gong practitioners who sang in the park last year. A music teacher in Hebei Normal University, Ms. Xi Shujun, was arrested at her workplace by the State Security Division of Xihua District in Shijiazhuang City on December 23. Ms. Liu Suran was also arrested at her workplace on December 22. Her keys were taken away, and her home was ransacked. Her computer and other personal belongings were confiscated. She was later sent to a detention center and has been held there since. Ms. Wei’s coworker, Yin Jinru, was also arrested a week ago. Mr. Zhou Yaogang, Ms. Wei Lirui, Ms. Yin Jinru and Ms. Xi Shujun are still detained in the South Market Detention Center in Shijiazhuang City.

Since Mr. Zhou and his wife were arrested, their elderly mother and junior high school-aged son have been left alone at home. The grandparent and grandchild are worried about the couple's safety.

Liu Haojie and Zhang Jun, the head of Xihua District 610 Office in Shijiazhuang City, were directly involved. They are also both prime perpetrators in the persecution and death of Ms. Yuan Ping, a tailor from Shijiazhuang City, on August 11, 2010.

On August 2, 2010, the Xihua District 610 Office instructed police officers to take Yuan Ping to a brainwashing center. After ten days, she was dead and there was an obvious bloody hole in the back of her head. After the incident, the 610 officers and police worked with Liu Haojie and Zhang Jun to help each other cover up the facts of the crime and forced her family to accept 100,000 yuan to close the case. Later Ms. Yuan’s husband accused the 610 Office of being responsible for Ms. Yuan's death. However, Liu Haojie and Zhang Jun have so far escaped justice.

It has been reported that Zhang Yunchuan, the Secretary of the CCP Hebei Provincial Committee, and others have shown their support in escalating the persecution of Mr. Zhou.

We ask everyone to pay attention to the persecution, help stop the evil persecution and rescue the detained Falun Gong practitioners so that they can be reunited with their families.
