(Clearwisdom.net) Officers from the Mudanjiang City Railway Police Division have been arresting and harassing practitioners since the persecution of Falun Gong started in July 1999. Below is information about recent incidents relating to practitioners and their family members.

Ms. Jia Yanfeng, a former teacher in Dongning No. 2 Middle School, was arrested in 2005 and was detained for nearly four months. Officials from the local 610 Office ordered the teaching committee at her school to force her to write a guarantee statement to renounce her belief, or she would be fired from her job. When she refused to comply, she was removed from her job and her wages were stopped. Her husband then divorced her. She has been doing temporary jobs to support herself and her daughter ever since.

The head of Dongning County Domestic Security Division, Lin Xiaowei, led officers from the Mudanjiang Railway Police Division to Ms. Jia's home at around 8 a.m. on September 22, 2011. They arrested her and confiscated a laptop, DVD player and other personal belongings. Her daughter is now left alone at home.

Ms. Yan Xiuhua from Dongning and Ms. Lu Yulan were arrested on March 20, 2011 at around 9 p.m., and their homes were ransacked. They were detained in Guangming Police Station in Dongning. Ms. Yan was arrested again on the morning of September 24, 2011 by officers from Mudanjiang Railway Police Division.

Ms. Zuo Xiuli, who was working temporarily in Dongning, and Ms. Du Wenxia and her husband were arrested by officers from Mudanjiang Railway police at Mudanjiang train station on April 12, 2011. Several police then went to Dongning the next day to arrest Ms. Zuo's brother, Mr. Zuo Xiucheng, his wife, Ms. Jiang Wenhua, as well as Ms. Jiang's younger brother, Mr. Jiang Wenyue. All of them were detained at the railway police division. Officers from the railway police and the Domestic Security Division went to Dongning again on the morning of April 27, to harass Ms. Jiang's 80-year-old father. They then went to Dongning 1st Middle School to harass Ms. Jiang's daughter, who was attending school there.

Mr. Zheng Jingjiang, a former accountant at Mudanjiang Train Depot, was arrested and detained in Sidao Forced Labor Camp in Mudanjiang at the end of 2002. Guard Wang Xuewen instructed inmates Jin Xiangzhe and Zheng Haipeng to crush his fingers with a pair of pliers. He was also beaten and his ribs were fractured. Despite his condition, guards still forced him to do hard labor.

After Mr. Zheng was released from the labor camp, officers from the railway police went to harass him at his home and at his wife's workplace many times. Officers from the Domestic Security Division, railway police and the Party Secretary at his workplace arrested him and took him to Yichun Brainwashing Center on September 6, 2011.

Mr. Zhan Xingchao, an employee at Mudanjiang railway, has previously been sentenced to a forced labor camp. He was first detained in Mudanjiang Forced Labor Camp before being transferred to Suihua Forced Labor Camp. The second time, he was taken to Suihua Forced Labor Camp directly.

Mr. Zhan was detained by the leader of his workplace around January 11, 2008, and was taken to the Railway Detention Center the next day. He was later transferred to Suihua Forced Labor Camp. He was arrested again on September 6, 2011, and has now been taken to Yichun Brainwashing Center.
