(Clearwisdom.net) Many officers from Zhaoyuan City Domestic Security Division and the 610 Office, in three police vehicles, arrived in Beifengjia Village on September 29, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. They climbed over a wall and broke into Falun Gong practitioner Liu Cuiyun's home. They arrested Liu Cuiyun and detained her at the Lingnan Brainwashing Center. The police showed no search warrant and did not follow legal procedures.

Why did the police arrest Liu Cuiyun? The local 610 Office said someone exposed information on the Internet regarding how Liu Cuiyun had been persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) over the past 12 years because she practices Falun Gong.

After the CCP started the persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, Liu Cuiyun and her family became the main target of the local CCP for persecution. On July 23, 1999, the Dahuchenjia Government which her village belongs to (now merged into Jinling Town) and the local police station sent over thirty people to break into her home and confiscate her Dafa books, Master's photo, and a mat for meditation, and then burned them. They also brutally beat her husband in his home.

On July 25-26, 1999, government officials Wang Shujiang, Wang Xueming, Xue Hongyao, Kang Yingchun, Zang Fengyou, and others arrested Liu Cuiyun and other Falun Gong practitioners in the town. They forced the practitioners to sit on the tar-covered ground in the heat of the day for two days. Over-70-year old Yang Juhua fainted due to the heat and was sent to a hospital for emergency treatment.

Government officials Xue Hongyao and Wang Shujiang arrested Liu Cuiyun and other two practitioners on the afternoon of October 1, 1999. They forced the practitioners to stand on bricks while squatting for over four hours. They were attempting to force the practitioners to stop practicing Falun Gong, but the practitioners refused. Xue Hongyao then violently beat the practitioners' heads. Liu Cuiyun's face became swollen and she became deaf due to the beating. Blood came out of her mouth. At night, the practitioners were deprived of sleep.

On February 14, 2000, Xue Hongyao and a few other officials arrested Liu Cuiyun and her husband and left her teenage child alone at home. Her husband was detained at the police station alone. During the night, Liu Cuiyun and 14 other arrested Falun Gong practitioners were left to freeze outside for an entire night, while it snowed. Officials from the government and the 610 Office, including Wang Shujiang, Wang Xueming, Xue Hongyao, Zang Fengyou, Kang Yingchun, Wang Jingfang, Sun Qiquan, Chen Feng, and Liu Qiang, came to the birth control office where the practitioners were detained. They forced the 15 practitioners to stand in the snow with bare feet. They then dragged the practitioners one by one into a room and used the rubber club to brutally beat them all over their bodies. Wang Shujiang also shouted, “We won't be held responsible if we beat you to death. We will throw you into the cesspool if we beat you to death.” A few days later, Wang Shujiang tried to extort 5,000 yuan from Liu Cuiyun. Liu Cuiyun said she didn't have the money. Wang Shujiang asked Chen Feng and Wang Jingfang to use the rubber club to beat Liu Cuiyun as they wished. Liu Cuiyun's entire body was very painful for a long time due to the beating, and she could not stand or sit.

Liu Cuiyun and her husband had been detained for over 50 days. The officials refused to let them go home until they extorted 5,500 yuan. The CCP officials threatened them to extort their money.

During the 50-day detention, Liu Cuiyun had been brutally tortured, both physically and mentally. She was also insulted by the officials. The officials tied Liu Cuiyun and a dozen practitioners together with a rope and paraded them on the street during the market day. Xue Hongyao and Wang Shujiang fabricated the charges against them and used the parade to humiliate the practitioners. They also laughed and scolded the practitioners, and incited the public to do the same. In year 2000, Liu Cuiyun was arrested by CCP officials and police seven times, and had been frequently harassed at home by the CCP.

In July 2007, village CCP official Feng Shanyou framed Liu Cuiyun in order to get some extra money from the CCP. On the evening of July 19, Liu Shumei, head of the Jinling Town 610 Office, led a dozen officers from the city 610 Office and Domestic Security Division (including the notorious officers Li Jianguang and CCP official Sun Qiquan) and broke into Liu Cuiyun's home after climbing over a wall. They forcibly ransacked Liu Cuiyun's home and confiscated a DVD player, a radio, Dafa books, and a satellite dish. They also arrested Liu Cuiyun and her husband and detained them at the brainwashing center at the Lingnan Gold Mine in an attempt to force them to give up their belief in Falun Dafa. They were detained for over 40 days.

Liu Shumei, head of Jinling Town 610 Office, again incited a few people to go to Liu Cuiyun's home and harass her on August 16, 2011. They tried to trick her into going to the government office for a talk, but Liu Cuiyun refused. Her husband was greatly impacted mentally due to the continuous persecution over the past 12 years. He was unable to eat or sleep, and had become absentminded.

The CCP officials and police who participated in the persecution of Liu Cuiyun over the past 12 years clearly know that the crimes they committed broke the law.

When the persecution on Liu Cuiyun was exposed on the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net) in September, the CCP did not pursue the criminals who persecuted Liu Cuiyun, but rather arrested the victim, Liu Cuiyun, and forced her to tell who exposed the facts of the persecution. Since Liu Cuiyun didn't know, she has been detained ever since.

The crimes that CCP officials Wang Shujiang, Xue Hongyao, Kang Yingcun, Wang Xueming, Zang Fengyou, Chen Feng, Liu Qiang, Wang Jingfang, Li Jianguang, Sun Qiquan, and Liu Shumei committed on Liu Cuiyong have been recorded with time and locations. Kang Yingchun received karmic retribution and died of lung cancer six years ago. The others dare not deny the crimes they committed, and none can escape from the punishment of the law.

After Liu Cuiyun was arrested, her family went to the Lingnan Brainwashing Center many times to request her release. But the 610 Office refused. When her family members asked why the police arrested her, the 610 Office officials said, “Because her persecution was exposed on the Internet. Without finding out who exposed her persecution, we will not release her.” Her family said, “She doesn't know how to use the Internet. Even if she knew how to use it, it would not be breaking the law. Everything that was exposed were facts. Why don't you arrest the bad guy who persecuted the good people? Instead, you arrested the victim.”

After Liu Cuiyun was arrested in 2007, Her over-80-year old mother got sick because of the impact and died eight months later. Her 92-year-old father was left at home. After she was arrested again, her father looked for her every day at home. Her family members were afraid that he couldn't take the mental impact and haven’t told him that his daughter was arrested.

Liu Cuiyun was publicly recognized as a very good person in the village. She is sincere, kind and warmhearted. After she started cultivating Falun Gong 15 years ago, she and other Falun Dafa practitioners cleaned all the snow in the village every year. The villagers are angry about Liu Cuiyun's arrest and have called for her release.
