(Clearwisdom.net) Around 7:00 a.m. on October 18, 2011, four unidentified people knocked on Ms. Chen Fengmin's door and said that they had come to collect for the water bill. When she opened the door, they seized her and forced her into a van. Then they quickly drove away with Ms. Chen crying out for help. Her current whereabouts remains unknown.

Later, the director of the Xiaoyun Jiedao Office in the Dongfeng District and someone from the residential committee in Sheng District notified Ms. Chen's brother to come get the key to her home. They also lied to him, saying, “Your sister was accompanied by a man to go to study in Qiqihar. She is living in guest quarters and has fine food to eat. She will return in a month.”

In the afternoon the day after Ms. Chen disappeared, her family members went to the officials in their local community trying to locate her. At first the director said that he did not know where she was. Her family said, “The weather is getting cold and we want to bring her some clothes.” The director replied, “There is no need for you to bring her anything. She is living in a nice place and has good food.” However, he refused to tell them where she was.

The following morning, Ms. Chen's son and mother-in-law went to see the staff of the residential committee again. A staff member said, “I cannot tell you where she is because it will affect her 'transformation.'” Her son said, “Because of this situation with my mother I have had to leave school in Qiqihar. My father is suffering as a result of a stroke and needs my mother to take care of him.” Her mother-in-law said, “My son is ill. My daughter-in-law has been taking care of him and working to support us. Now you have abducted her and we have no income to support ourselves.”

The director of the residential committee said, “If Ms. Chen is willing to give up Falun Gong, she can return in a few days. We can also send some people to care for your son.” Ms. Chen's son replied, “I don't believe you. You lied to me in 2002 when you told me that you just wanted to speak to my mother and then she was not able to come home for three years. In those days my father was working the night shift. When I was alone at night, I was afraid and cried a lot. I can't believe anything you say. Without my mother's income, how can we live and how can I go to school? You forced your way into our house without a search warrant. You ransacked our home and left it in a mess. What you have done is illegal.”

The communists officials at the residential committee could not justify their actions. They lied to Ms. Chen's son again, saying, “We found two boxes of Falun Gong materials and over one hundred DVDs. Your mother can be sentenced to forced labor for that.” The son replied, “You are lying again. Show me what you found. My mother didn't do anything illegal.”

During the confrontation, the staff of the residential committee had to call their supervisor several times for guidance. Finally, near the end of the day, they said, “We will give you an answer within three days as to whether or not we can let her go.”
