(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 9 provinces. In this report, 10 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 18 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yang Xiuying and Other Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Yang Xiuying from Hulan District, Harbin, was taken away from her home on November 7, 2011. Mr. Liu Wanjun and Mr. Wang Zhongyi were also arrested that day. Mr. Wang Zhongyi's wife, Wen Shufan was arrested on the afternoon of November 4, 2011.

2. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jia Liqing and Ms. Yu Arrested

Ms. Jia Liqing and Ms. Yu work at the Second Hospital Affiliated to the Harbin Medical University. They were taken away by officers from the Songbei Police Department on November 5, 2011. Their homes were also ransacked.

3. [Jintang County, Sichuan Province] Doctor Ms. Li Wenhua Arrested

Ms. Li Wenhua was a doctor at the Jintang Second Hospital. On the morning of October 28, 2011, she was taken away by police while she was working at the Tongxingbazi Private Clinic in Huaikou Town, Jintang.

4. [Lanzhou, Gansu Province] Ms. Zeng Yumei and Ms. Wang Yurong Sent to Forced Labor Camp

Ms. Zeng Yumei, 56, is a retired officer of the Gansu Provincial Procuratorates. Ms. Wang Yurong, 49, is a farmer. They were both arrested by police who were waiting for them on the night of September 25, 2011. The two practitioners were detained in the Taoshuping Lockup Center in Lanzhou for 15 days. After the term was over, they were sent to the Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center. Later on, they were transferred to the Heping Women's Forced Labor Camp in Yuzhong County, Lanzhou, for a one-year term.

5. [Weifang, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Shuying and Other Practitioners Arrested

On the morning of November 6, 2011, officers from the Weifang 610 Office, the Fangzi District 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division, went to Yijia Village, Huangqibao Town to ransack the homes of Falun Gong practitioners. They arrested Ms. Zhang Xi, Ms. Wang Guixiang, Ms. Zhou Shuping and Ms. Zhang Shuying. Three of them were released that day. Ms. Zhang Shuying's whereabout are still unknown.

6. [Chongqing] Ms. Zeng Pengying and Her Daughter-in-law Arrested Again

On October 27, 2011, officers from the Nanchuan District 610 Office and the Dongcheng Police Station went to ransack Ms. Zeng Pengying's home and arrested her and her daughter-in-law. The two practitioners are being detained in the Nanchuan District Detention Center in Chongqing.

7. [Huangshi, Hubei Province] Ms. Xu Guilan Arrested at the People's Plaza on November 2, 2011

8. [Lanzhou, Gansu Province] Ms. Wang Ruiling and Other Practitioners Sentenced

Ms. Wang Ruiling, Ms. Wang Xu and Ms. Liu Rufang from Xigu District, Lanzhou, were arrested while distributing Falun Gong materials on July 6, 2010. On September 8, 2011, the court sentenced Ms. Wang Ruiling to three years in prison; Ms. Wang Xu to three years in prison with four years' probation and Ms. Liu Rufang to three years in prison with five years' probation.

9. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Ms. Yun Xiao Arrested on October 27, 2011 and Is Detained at the Xinyang Second Detention Center

10. [Guangzhou, Guangdong Province] Mr. Liang Dong and His Wife Ms. Luo Xiaojuan Sentenced

Mr. Liang Dong and his wife Luo Xiaojuan, were arrested by officers Zhu Weiqiang and Zeng Kan from the Yuexiu District Domestic Security Division, one night in August 2010. The police ransacked their home and took away a laptop, Falun Gong materials, etc.

In October 2011, the Yuexiu District Court illegally sentenced Mr. Liang Dong to three years in a forced labor camp and Ms. Luo Xiaojuan to two years in a forced labor camp with three years' probation.

11. [Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province] Mr. Nie Fenghe Arrested

Mr. Nie Fenghe from Da'anshe, Xinhua District, was taken away by officers from the Shangcheng Police Station while he was working at the Hebei Media Institute on October 21, 2011. He was sent to the Taihuajie Detention Center.

12. [Suizhong, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Xiaoyan Taken to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp

Ms. Li Xiaoyan was arrested at the Xingcheng Nursing Home of the Weapons Department by officers from the Diaoyutai Frontier Station at noon on October 23, 2011. She was detained in the Huludao Detention Center.

On November 4, 2011, Zhao Liyang, Deputy Chief of the Frontier Station sent Ms. Li to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for a 21-month term.
