Retired Teacher of Beijing Normal University Robbed by Police Again

Dec. 14, 2011 |   By a Clearwisdom correspondent from Beijing, China

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Guo Yulan, 67, is a retired teacher at Beijing Normal University. She lives in the Changping District, Beijing. Because she cultivates Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, the Changping police made plans to arrest her again on November 17, 2011. They also took a large amount of personal property from her home.

At 6:40 p.m. on November 17, 2011, six plainclothes officers (five male and one female) from the Dongxiaokou Police Station in Changping cut off the electricity to Ms. Guo Yulan’s home and broke into it. Ms. Guo was at home alone at that time. As soon as they entered, the police rummaged everywhere. Ms. Guo asked, “Why do you use such a sordid means to enter my home and rob me?” One police answered, “We knocked on your door before and you would not open it, so we cut off the electricity.”

Ms. Guo clarified the truth to them and told them that those who persecuted Falun Gong practitioners received karmic retribution. They ignored her and planned to take her away. Ms. Guo did not cooperate. The police did not leave and continued harassing her. As this continued, Ms. Guo suddenly fainted and fell down. The police called emergency services and intended to take her away.

When she regained consciousness, Ms. Guo told the emergency staff about Falun Gong. She exposed the evil deeds of the police and told the staff not to participate in the persecution. After the emergency staff left, the police called Ms. Guo’s son and demanded that he cooperate with them. Ms. Guo told her son how the police had entered her room and robbed her of a large amount of personal property, and she had fainted.

Ms. Guo said to the police, “The Constitution stipulates that a citizen has freedom of belief. My practicing Falun Gong does not break the law. I definitely will not go with you. I will stay in my home! You ransacked my home, so you will receive retribution. I definitely will expose what you have done!”

The police felt guilty and did not speak. They told Ms. Guo’s son not to report them on the Internet. The police left at 9:40 p.m. after three hours. They took a laptop, three cell phones, some phone cards, five MP5 players, a universal charger, about 7000 yuan with the words “Falun Gong” written on them, four USB drives, dozens of Falun Dafa books, 300 necklaces with truth-clarification cards, Falun Gong DVDs, Shen Yun DVDs, Master Li’s pictures, telephone books, and other items. They also ransacked the bookcases and cabinets of Ms. Guo Yulan’s son, who is not a practitioner.

Ms. Guo’s resident registration is in Haidian. Local police officer Niu Yang from Beitaipingzhuang in the Haidian District picked her up and took her to the detention center on April 21, 2009. Ms. Guo was released that night. Afterwards the police put her name on an Internet watch list.

After hearing Ms. Guo was at home, five officers from the Zhongguancun Police Station drove a big police vehicle and an ambulance to take Ms. Guo to the Zhongguancun Hospital on April 7, 2011. They deceived Ms. Guo’s family members and then transferred her to the detention center. Ms. Guo went on a hunger strike. She was released and picked up by her son on the morning of April 17, 2011
