(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 24 cities or counties across 14 provinces. In this report, 114 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 32 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Xiao Yanping in Critical Condition as a Result of Persecution
Ms. Xiao Yanping, in her forties, was framed by Ma Ping'an in 2008 and was sentenced to eight years in prison. Now she is being held at Shaanxi Province Women's Prison. At the prison, all her teeth were knocked out during beatings that were instigated by prison authorities. Now her gums are severely swollen and bleeding. She cannot eat. She can only drink water and eat a little liquid food and is now in a critical condition.

3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Over Ten Practitioners Arrested
Since February 2011, police officers from Liaozhong County, Shenyang City arrested Falun Gong practitioners including Ms. Shi Fengqi, from Lengzibao Township, Mr. Xue Tianzuo from the second high school who went on a hunger strike for many days, Ms. Yang Min, Mr. Zhang Mingwei from Chengjiao Township, Mr. Wei Tianxi who is on a hunger strike now, a practitioner whose family name is Liu, Ms. Sun from Liaozhong Town, Mr. Zhou Jinbao and others; over ten people altogether.

6. [Tai'an City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Shuxia Sentenced to One Year in Prison
Ms. Sun Shuxia, 46, from Chaijiazhuang, Geshi Town, Ningyang County and Ms. Lu Ruimei, 67, were arrested by officers from Ningyang County 610 Office and the police department because they distributed truth clarification materials on the afternoon of November 4, 2010. Ms. Sun was sentenced to one year in prison. Ms. Lu was sentenced to one year in prison and one year of probation.
7. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhang Naiqin's Husband Divorced Her as a Result of Harassment by Yushan Labor Camp Authorities
Officers from Yushan Labor Camp, Tianjin, forced the physician of the camp, Ms. Zhang Naiqin to give up her belief in Falun Gong and she refused. So they continuously harassed her, making it impossible for her to live a normal life and do her job. Her husband, a police officer working at the same place, was unable to bear the pressure she faced and divorced her.
In addition, Ms. Yu Guiying, and Ms. Jia Xiuhua, retired employees of this camp, were also mistreated because they clarified the truth recently.

12. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chu Dexiao Arrested
On February 21, 2011, Ms. Chu Dexiao, from Laixi City, was reported when she went to her hometown and distributed information about the persecution. In the afternoon, when she came back to the city, she was arrested by officers from Hetoudian Police Station, Laixi Police Department, and from the Transportation Police Division. Her truth clarification materials, cell phone, cash and motorcycle were confiscated and she was taken to Laixi Detention Center.
She has been arrested three times by police officers from Laixi City. As a result, her family was separated.
13. [Chongqing] Ms. Duan Zhiying Arrested
Ms. Duan Zhiying, from Huaxi Town, Lijiatuo, Banan District, Chongqing, in her fifties, was reported when she distributed information in Lijiatuo on February 27, 2011 and was arrested. She was taken to Lijiatuo Police Station. The items she brought with her, including many books, Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs, and flyers about the persecution, were taken away. At midnight, police officers went to her home and ransacked it. Now she is being held at the Yudong Detention Center, Banan District.
14. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Baofen Arrested
At 11:00 a.m., on March 1, 2011, four police officers from Shiqiao Police Station, Fuku County Police Department, Shenyang City, forced their way into Ms. Li Baofen's home. They took away a few copies of Zhuan Falun and other Falun Dafa books. She was arrested and taken to a police station. It was said that she would be released at noon but she is still being held at this time.

Mr.Du Wanmin, Mr. Du Wancheng and his wife were missing on the night of February 26, 2011. Later it was confirmed that they were arrested. Now they are detained at the Dagang Police Department Detention Center. The father and mother at home are both older and the mother who is severely sick cannot take care of herself.
20. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Xu Zengliang Missing
Mr. Xu Zengliang, from Zhenbei Village, Cuierzhuang Town, Cang County, Cangzhou City, was in his thirties,during the period when he was working temporarily in Beijing. One night, he went out to distribute truth-clarification materials and did not return afterwards.
21. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xu Yurong Arrested and Her Home Ransacked
On the night of August 26, 2010, a large group of officers from Duozhuang Town Police Station, Mengyin County, Linyi City and the 610 Office went to Shanqian Village, Duozhuang Town to arrest Ms. Xu Yurong. They ransacked his home and took away an MP3 player and other items.
At Duozhuang Town, Ms. Xu was brutally beaten by a group of people. As a result, she was severely bruised and was black and blue all over. Later, she was taken to the police station and detained there. After a thousand yuan was extorted from her by the authorites, she was released.

29. [Heilongjiang Province] Harbin City Women's Prison Persecutes Falun Gong Practitioners
Wang Yali, the director of guards at the Harbin City Women's Prison, ordered guards to search Falun Gong practitioners' bodies while holding them down on the floor. Guard Chen Dongyue, continuously punched Ms. Feng Shurong's face. They took away all the clothes of Ms. Liu Xiaofen, Ms. Feng Shurong, Ms. Lu Yinghua, Ms. Dong Lingui, and Ms. Zhang Dexiang. Then they only returned a few items of clothing after they printed words on them that would serve to humiliate the practitioners. That day, four or five practitioners went on a hunger strike.

Mr. Xie Guoqiang, from Xindong Village, Zhangqiao Township, Yanling County, 64, was deceived into going to Zhangqiao Police Station on February 6, 2011. Then he was forced into a police vehicle and was taken to Yanling Detention Center.

32. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Guiying Taken to Xinglong Brainwashing Center Again
In July 2009, Ms. Li Guiying was held at the Heizuizi Labor Camp, Changchun City. On February 15, 2011, she should have been released. But her term was extended for another fifteen days, which meant that she should have been released on March 2, 2011. When her family went to pick her up, the guards said, “She cannot be released. She will be taken to Longshan Brainwashing Center to be transformed.”
