(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Qinglan has been persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party for the past twelve years. She has been tortured in Huashanlu Police Station of Jiangnan Township, the Jilin City No.1 Detention Center, the Zhuque Mountain Brainwashing Center in Fengman District, and the Xiaoguang No .4 Community Welfare House in Shahezi Township, Fengman District.

On February 1, 2001, together with other Falun Gong practitioners, Ms. Wang went out to clarify the facts about Falun Dafa. She was reported by Hu Xiangguo, party secretary of Yaolingzi Village, and Li Zonghan, village head. They called Wang Jin, deputy township head, and Zhang Shimin, a local policeman, and two other policemen to arrest Ms. Wang. They detained her at Huashanlu Police Station and tortured her, and only released her after they had successfully extorted three thousand yuan from her.

On August 1, 2001, Wang Jin, and Zhang Yuedong, party secretary of the township, went to Ms. Wang's husband to threaten him. Due to the pressure, her husband was angry at her and shouted at her. Zhang asked Ms. Wang to sign statements to give up practicing Falun Gong, but she refused. Communist Party officials then extorted another one thousand yuan from her family. Days later, Wang Jin, Zhang Shimin, and Sun and Zhao, section heads of Fengman District Police Department, forcibly took Ms. Wang away and sent her to Jilin City Hospital for a physical exam for entrance into a forced labor camp. However, she did not pass the exam. Sun attempted to extort another three thousand yuan from her family, but did not succeed.

On September 20, 2001, Wang Jin, director Sun of the Fengman District 610 office, and a driver deceived Ms. Wang and brought her to the Zhuque Mountain Brainwashing Center. She was forced to watch TV programs put together by the Communist Party, which were full of propaganda about Falun Gong. She was detained for twelve days, and extorted out of 550 yuan.

On November 14, 2004, Xu Hongwei, deputy director of Huashanlu Police Department, Zhang Shimin, and three other policemen broke into Ms. Wang's home and ransacked it. They found some Falun Gong truth-clarification materials, and she was interrogated about the source of the materials. But Ms. Wang refused to cooperate with them. She was later detained in Fengman District Police Department. Wang Yan, a policeman, tortured her there. He took photos of her and took her fingerprints by force. She was later sent to Yueshanlu Detention Center. The police forced her family to pay several thousand yuan, promising to decrease her sentence from three years' imprisonment to one-year's imprisonment and one-year's probation.

During the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Qin Jicheng from the Jiangnan Township 610 Office, and six policemen from Huashanlu Police Station went to Ms. Wang's home, and wanted to send her to the brainwashing center. She refused to go with them. They asked her husband to watch her, and stop her from going anywhere. During the next few days, policemen came to her home to harass and monitor her until the Olympics were over.

Around 6:00 p.m. on July 17, 2010, when she was working on the farm, seven policemen from the Huashanlu Police Department forcibly carried her into a car, and sent her into the brainwashing center in Xiaoguang Village No. 4 Community Welfare House. Personnel there forced her into solitary confinement, and asked two people to watch her. They tried to force her to sign statements to give up practicing, threatening that if she refused to sign, she would be sent to a forced labor camp. Four days later, she did not pass the physical exam for entrance to the labor camp. However, the brainwashing center refused to release her. Eight days later, she successfully escaped.

Over the past twelve years, Ms. Wang Qinglan has suffered torture several times. Her family has suffered financially and psychologically. In total, they have been extorted out of more than ten thousand yuan. Her children constantly worry about her.
