(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of January 3, 2012, Ms. Song Lijie from Tumen, Jilin Province, was distributing Falun Gong materials in a residential area. She was reported to police by a woman. At about 2 p.m., the police followed her to the "Bargain Pants Market" and planned to arrest her there.

Ms. Song Lijie said to the police, “You don't worry about those who are killing and robbing people but just arrest good, innocent people.” The police first slapped Ms. Song in the face several times and then kicked and hit her. Ms. Song fainted.

At the same time, the police also picked up the managers, salesmen, and several customers from the market and took them to the police station. They were released the next day. The market was forced to remain closed while they were detained.

At 8 p.m., the police rushed into the home of Ms. Song's mother, Ms. Zhang Guiying, and took her away.

Currently, Ms. Zhang is being detained in the Houanshan Detention Center in Tumen. Ms. Song is missing. The police have not informed her family of her whereabouts.
