Mr. Zhao Hu’s Whereabouts Unknown After Being Arrested in Guangzhou

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhao Hu was arrested in Guangzhou City on October 26, 2012, by officers from the Wuhan City Domestic Security Division, Guangzhou 610 Office, and Huanghuagang Police Station. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. Zhao Hu was born in Anyue County, Sichuan Province in 1972. He and his family moved to Jianghan Oil Field in Hubei Province in 1979. He was admitted to the graduate school of Wuhan University. He taught at the Tongji College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and then an university in Guangzhou. He was also the chief editor of Business Management, a college textbook.

Mr. Zhao started practicing Falun Gong in 1996. He was repeatedly arrested and detained after the Chinese regime started the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999. He was held at detention centers and brainwashing centers, and served a two-year term at a forced labor camp.

Four practitioners, Jin Jianjun, Chen Ruichang, Gao Suming, and Peng Lin, were also arrested on around October 26, 2012. Peng Lin later escaped, and the other three practitioners have been detained at the brainwashing center since then.
