(Minghui.org) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing, and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, groups of Party members at all levels and ranks within the regime closely followed the orders, using every means available to persecute innocent people. Cases of those who have received retribution for their evil deeds have been taking place with more frequency in recent years. Below are some examples.
Township Party head meets with untimely death
Dong Shaojie, 43, was the Party head of Yangcun Township in Ding County, Hebei Province. Recently, in order to get a quick promotion and get rich, Dong began persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. He became actively involved in the persecution.
Dong Shaojie sent two practitioners to a labor camp and illegaly arrested several others. Once, he planned to seize a practitioner in Yangcun County. The door of the practitioner's house was locked and no one was at home. He had officers from the county 610 Office and police department enter the house by jumping over the wall.
Dong Shaojie spent at least 150,000 yuan to buy his Party position in the township. Shortly after Dong took office, he got a driver to drive him around a sedan. On January 27, 2012, while heading home, they had an accident with a big truck on the highway. Dong died at the scene, but his driver wasn't hurt. When Dong's body was examined in the hospital, the doctors didn't see any injuries or even bruises on him. The cause of death was deemed a heart attack.
Security officer dies of nasal cancer
Chen Yanhui was a security officer at the Baoning Town suburban administration office in Langzhong City, Sichuan Province. When the CCP began persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, he joined in. In January 2001, Chen was assigned to the Langzhong Second Detention Center and placed in charge of monitoring detained Falun Gong practitioners. When the practitioners tried to clarify the truth to him, he said, “I do not believe you. The CCP gives me money, so I only believe them.” He retired shortly after. Three months later, his ears suddenly started to hurt and he had a headache. He was diagnosed with late-stage nasal cancer. After undergoing chemotherapy, putrid yellow pus continued to drain out of his mouth, nose, and ears. He soon lost a lot of weight and died in agony.
Police officer jailed and demoted
Xu Hua was an officer at the Xichen Police Station in Langzhong City, Sichuan Province. He frequently went around the community harassing practitioners. He participated in ransacking practitioners' homes and interrogating them. After he was assigned to the Langzhong Second Detention Center, he continued committing crimes and persecuted two practitioners who were detained there.
Shortly after he left the detention center, he was sentenced to jail for dereliction of duty. He was then demoted and assigned to another position.
Deputy heads of police department and head of committee arrested for corruption
Zhang Qingzhong and Shi Juping, both deputy heads of Tianshui Police Department, along with Han Daicheng, head of the city Political and Legal Committee, were arrested for corruption around March 2, 2012. All three had participated in persecuting Falun Gong.
On December 22, 2001, practitioner Mr. Wang Yongming was arrested by Shi Juping, who at that time was the head of the Beidao District Police Department. Mr. Wang was subsequently sentenced to 11 years in prison by Qincheng District Court. He was transferred to Lanzhou City Prison in March 2003.
