(Minghui.org) Mr. Qin Jianxue, 48, used to work at Cishan Depot. On February 25, 2012, after 7 a.m., he was arrested at home by a group of police officers from the Hanshan District Police Branch of Handan City, Hebei Province. He was sentenced to one and a half years in a forced labor camp. This was the third time he was sent to Handan City Forced Labor Camp.

Mr. Qin's 16-year-old daughter is mentally retarded and has difficulty caring for herself. Now the family must rely on his wife for their livelihood. When his wife is not at home, Mr. Qin's daughter can only eat Ramen noodles for meals.

During the 13-year persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP, Mr. Qin has been sentenced to forced labor again and again due to his insistence in his belief in Truth-Compassion-Forbearance. His family must also endure suffering over and over that they should not have to bear.

Before practicing Falun Dafa, Mr. Qin had hydrocephalus and was on drug therapy with no improvement. In 1996, he began to practice Falun Gong. His diseases disappeared without taking any medicine. He often told people about the beauty of Falun Dafa.

In July 1999, the CCP began the persecution of Falun Gong. Mr. Qin went to Beijing to appeal for the practice. He was brought back to his hometown by police and taken to Handan City Forced Labor Camp. At the forced labor camp, he suffered brutal beatings, verbal abuse, prolonged sleep deprivation, and other inhumane torture. At the end of 2000, he went home.

The persecution escalated and the CCP concocted lies about Falun Gong that were constantly shown on national TV. In order to prevent people from being deceived by the Party, at the end of July 2001, Mr. Qin went to a small residential district to clarify the truth in Handan County. He was arrested by the National Security Team from Handan County Police Station and then was sentenced to two years in a forced labor camp. He was first detained at Handan Forced Labor Camp and then at Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp and suffered severe persecution. Guards would not allow him to sleep for 20 days and forced him to give up his practice.

Mr. Qin's family tragedy is just a microcosm of the persecution suffered by hundreds of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners.
