(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Qu Liling is disabled. She is from Baokang County, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. On April 24, 2012, she went with another practitioner surnamed Tan, who is from Mingcheng Township, Panshi City, Jilin Province, to the General Management Office of Mingcheng Township. They tried to get back Ms. Tan's pension, which the office had held illegally. The office director Wu Dechun, and Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members and police from the 610 Office in Panshi City and the Mingcheng Township Police Station, arrested and detained the two practitioners in the Panshi City Detention Station. They notified Baokang County staff to take Qu Liling back to Baokang County.

Ms. Qu Liling started to practice Falun Dafa in 2004. Before she started practicing Dafa, she had cancer, but her health recovered as a result of the practice. Everyone who knows Ms. Qui thinks that she is a very good person. Practitioner Tan, in her 70's, is from Mingcheng Township, Panshi City, Jilin Province. She became homeless to avoid persecution, and fled to Baokang County in Inner Mongolia.

Around April 20, Ms. Tan asked Qu Liling to make a phone call to Director Wu Dechun from the General Management Office of Mingcheng Township, to request her and her husband's pensions. Their pensions had been held by the 610 Office of the city and the General Management Office for about 8 years. The elderly couple was homeless for many years and lived a difficult life. Wu Dechun told Qu Liling: “Let her come! You can also come and be a witness.” So Ms. Tan asked Qu Liling to go with her.

On April 23, Ms. Tan and Qu Liling went to Mingcheng Township, and stayed in Ms. Tan's daughter's home.

On April 24, Ms. Tan and Qu Liling left their purses at Ms. Tan's daughter's home, and went to the General Management Office to ask for the pensions. They also clarified the truth about the persecution to Director Wu Dechun. Wu said that he could not make the decision and that they should talk to his supervisor. Wu found a female deputy mayor of the township. Soon, Director Wang Fu'an and Chief Sun from the 610 Office of Mingcheng Township also came. They claimed to have solved the pension problem. Two cars from the Mingcheng Township Police Station then came and took Ms. Tan and Qu Liling to the police station.

At the police station, the police forced the practitioners to have their pictures taken and be fingerprinted. Qu Liling was given fifteen days of detention and a 1,000-yuan fine. She was taken to the Panshi City Detention Center. The police notified Baokang County to take her back to her hometown. The police also tried to detain Ms. Tan for fifteen days with a 1,000-yuan fine. However, with her righteous resistance, it did not happen.

Ms. Tan's daughter was forced by the police to submit the women's purses to the police station. The police held the purses. In Ms. Tan's purse, there was an MP4 player and an address book. Qu Liling's purse contained two MP4 players, two flash drives and some truth-clarification materials, all their own personal belongings.
